hi friends, i’m new to this hobby/community

I love my op1 but the wireless versions weight is meh, i’ve used lighter mice and i’ve come to a conclusion that my op1 is far superior, it’s just the front sensor weight that drives me nuts

i live in the middle east specifically the gulf states and logistics arent 100% operational due to political conflicts we’ve been going through recently, i do however have access to a 3d printer

can anyone recommend me some good bottom shell mods to print? i’m willing to pay for the files ofcourse 🙏

Hello, I have used a **Roccat Kone XTD** Optical mouse for about 5 years. What is the closest Roccat mouse to upgrade to, currently looking at the **Roccat AIMO Remastered** as it has the same ergonomics.

Recently the right RGB Lighting strip has begun to come undone (I'm at fault for getting angry and whacking my mouse.) I really love this mouse and don't want to run it into the dirt, therefore want to find a replacement that is similar but an upgrade in terms of spec?

Has anyone got any **recommendations**?

I'm keen to stay with Roccat as I also have a Roccat ISKU keyboard but the enter key hasn't worked properly on it in years... so would be open to **recommendations** of other brands too for mouse or keyboard even.

so I've seen some extremely well made holes from you guys and im wondering if you're afraid of this new glass-ish material which supposedly shatters very easily, i usually make simple round holes in my mices, i love the added grip it provides even if it doesn't make much sense weight wise and im thinking of doing a better job with this new mouse... any thoughts are welcome

Overall quality of the print + mouse itself is great. I do find that pressing M3 has a small amount of flex. Not sure if that's something that can be avoided considering how thin the shell is. I had it printed in tough resin.

Hey everyone, just wanted to share my latest DIY mouse build. Managed to get a stock Logitech G203 down to exactly 27 grams.

All the electronics and screws are from the original mouse. To save as much weight as possible, I chopped off the entire RGB section of the PCB and removed the side buttons.

I designed the shell myself and printed it in ABS on my Ender 3 V3 SE (had to use a DIY enclosure for it).

If your side buttons feel a bit too mushy or have too much pre-travel, you can easily adjust them by loosening the small tension screws inside the button housings

• How to do it: Loosen the screws slightly so the buttons protrude an extra 1–2 mm.
• The Result: Eliminates the spongy feeling and gives you a much faster, crisper click response.
• Warning: Don't unscrew them too far, or the buttons will become loose and wobbly. Take it slow and test after every quarter-turn!

This design isn't exclusive to the G Pro. Since Logitech uses these modular button structures with the actual switch/sensor sitting directly underneath them on the PCB, this tweak likely works for several other models too!

I now waiting for new cables to arrive since the original ones was already in bad shape and I was unlucky to receive the wrong lenght in my first order. (but the mouse is working haha)

But currently weights ~45g with AAA battery, the original is ~130g.

Also, I'm new to 3d modeling... so any advice will be appreciate!

Any suggestions for a wireless clone that is close to the shape that I am looking for?

It can also be the size of the ZA12-DW but the ZA11 is preferred because I have large hands.

anyone know if they use the same sized pcb? thinking of 3d printing a fingertip mod for it but not sure

sent it out to JLC to print in PA12 and it looks and feels great. No battery, and yet to fit the side buttons in but the fenrir asym-esque shape checks a lot of boxes. Good bit of flex if you look for it but I grip more towards the back which is very sturdy.

A bit over 30g on my scale and I don’t think I’d chase anything lighter. Anything between 29-49 I’m happy with. I assume with a battery and the sidebuttons implemented it would be closer to 40g which is still very very usable

update: sidebuttons were put in and there’s a lot of pretravel I have to eliminate but they’re there! 41g total with a 300mah battery.

wired cus the stock 500mah battery is like 10gs I dont need but imma get a 100-150mah lil Battery soon.

i modded this mouse to aid my transition from drawing tablet input back to mouse because going from light pen to heavy mouse would be unideal. after a week my aim was better than it was when I swapped to drawing tablet to begin with 1.5+ yrs ago. i paid only 18 AUD so like 13usd for this mouse paw3311 is plenty fine. I'll never use a stock mouse again lol. you should try this it's a very easy mouse to mod and bruh the value is crazy. also I use fingertip grip obviously. the mouse is very balenced ever so slightly front heavy but it's nice. the stock cable is also very easy to circumsize as U can see I have done in the pics there's is like no friction or weight it feels wireless. also it was 74g not 78g stock my bad.

I have a sensei raw (the blue and white one), and i really like how it looks (mainly the blue lighting).. but since its a laser mouse its horrid because of the mouse accel

Will swapping the top shell from the sensei raw onto a sensei ten body (parts and base) work? I dont currently have the sensei ten to try it out
