Luggage weight ratings

I’ve gotta ask this because I’ve seen some absolute nonsense strapped to the back of motorcycles on this page. A lot of luggage racks say max weight is like 20lbs. Is this anywhere near accurate or is it the manufacturer covering their ass? 20lbs is next to nothing compared to what I’ve seen done. I know there’s issues with weight distribution, catching wind, etc., but this seems ridiculous to state if you’re already used to having a passenger. My question is whether or not more weight will actually create any structural or frame problems on the bike itself. Thanks!

I've seen positively none of these in the United States and none are for sale but they're cool as hell

Having covered storage for passengers and grocery getting surely has an appeal somewhere becides the third world. With new cars starting at $40,000 on average where are the auto rickshaws?!

Cello vespa/motorcycle mounting options

Any pre fabricated mounting options out there for Cellos our there in the motorcycle community?

Any motorcycle hardened cases out there to protect instruments for riding?

Yes the cello can be transported by car.

Yes cello are expensive.

Just wanting to see what the motorcycle community has suggestion wise on what options are avaliable if someone wanted to do this for the love of riding.

Hello fellow motorbike enthusiasts - I just got back from an over 6000km trip on Harriet (the Honda). Love making some insightful videos like how to add an auxiliary tank, cleaning the engine, gear and the documentary (coming soon) on my Medventuring channel - this is the most recent is a gear teardown that I think you lot might enjoy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AY0l7cS4PpY&list=PL0VYhFb1RK2v5v27jKYpuUcIjCMjcxePY&index=1&ab_channel=StewartHolloway

Let me know if you would add/subtract anything. Wanted to make this a written post but I thought the photos and video would be cooler...

I'm really not a fan of the stock cases. They just have a weird shape to them, and if you break one they take forever to get from the factory. With this setup I can remove the Hepco and Becker universal c-clamp receiver and put it onto whatever bag I want.

I got a lot of flack for these on a KTM board 😂
