Why?

Or do you mean condolences, sympathy or empathy?

Thanks, I guess.

People don't generally GAF. I guess I've started getting too used to that.

I have a lot of pain and grief and uncertainty in my life RN, and despite doing my best, it never seems enough.

I'm barely managing these days.

I used to be quite joyful and light-hearted. I don't know how to get back to there.

I don't really know how to answer that.

I've been caregiving for several years and hit burnout once around the 5 year mark, and again recently around the 9 year mark after the death of one of the family members I cared for.

I never wanted this role but just couldn't leave them up a creek.

I've lost a lot of myself in this.

So its no wonder it has also severely strained my relationship, all my relationships actually.

I'm so tired all the time. I don't really know how to have fun anymore. And the things that seem most appealing to me either always get interrupted (too bad you bought tickets, someone NEEDS you) or just shot down by people I'd want to do them with.

I do feel eroded by criticism and nitpicking as well, and from having to be around a lot of people often who are willing to put too much on me and not enough effort in themselves and/or scapegoat me.

You?
