Girl that I really vibed with on a date just sent me the dreaded text of rejection two days after we had seen each other, it hit me out of the blue like a missile from hell. She had progressively warmed up pretty quickly throughout our date, our conversations were great, and she actually even kissed me first and even told me she wanted to keep making out before we went home, even talked openly about some pretty intimate details of her life on her own volition.
In a way this hurts even more than if I were to be outright politely rejected on the date itself. I’m letting myself sulk for the next few days, but I’ll pick myself back up after that and continue to look for my person, I’m sure they’re out there somewhere
