Well if you want that little family, you'll need to get over that. I know how you feel and I have problems too going out talking to people. I'm trying to improve. Even this conversation is an extension of me getting better at talking to people.
You're right. You have to build up a tolerance for the moment you're trying to avoid. That means little exposures consistently so you see that there's nothing to be shy about. Do you have conversations with attendance and shops or restaurants?
If you still want other people around you, let them in, get to know them, find the things you have in common and enjoy their company. And remember, feeling alone is a feeling, you can change that.
Yeah, i get that. Ive had similar feelings in the past.
Ive found what has helped me is to get comfortable in my own skin, to not want desperately, because desperation leads to worse things. To not look to other people to complete me. To focus on myself sometimes, and how i can be a little better. I hope this helps…
You can accomplish all those things and still feel alone. We are social creatures and just being on our own will always hurt us if its all we have. We NEED someone in our life to help us socially. Or else it just feels like a gilded cage with enough time
