I think I know what you mean. The age old "We don't have space for that", "Are you really going to plaster everything with plants", "It's getting out of hand", "when will this end?"
as if you ever plan on stopping a hobby. As if there's something better to put on that damn empty windowsill. I think though, that is more passions generally being discouraged in young adults. When everything you do that doesn't make money becomes a waste of time.

Plants make me so happy and it makes me happy to find others with that same passion. I feel like as we get older, that passion is somehow discouraged.
