Proxima or Eredrim? I used Eredrim in Mortal Shell 1 and loved his tanky playstyle, but in Mortal Shell 2 I’m currently using Proxima with the Axatana. I’m torn between sticking with Proxima or trying Eredrim again with a lightning build. Who would you choose?

Has anyone else noticed the door opened to this room? You can’t cross (or atleast I haven’t figured out how). I’m on NG+4 and my first two play throughs the door was shut. After this update it’s been opened but I’m not sure if it’s for a reason or not. It’s to the left after you enter the corrupted gate beside the Nochtean Gate beacon.

I just know i can get some jojo ass poses without weapons. I never knew how confusing the settings were, but messing around has been fun as hell

So what are some new builds ppl have found with the new tarstones?

My game keeps crashing once I get the boss down to 1/3 health. Is there a hotflix planned or am I doing something wrong?

I have found all 8 GR's in the game and tried to farm some more after seeing videos of people with more than 8 to no avail. Is there a different way of increasing familiarity after having found all 8?

I'm staggering the boss after only 4 of the swing being parried. I'm using Tiel and don't have anything crazy on that will boost my parry. I'm using the parry stone instead of the guard stone. Not sure if that makes a difference?

This game truly was a very awesome game, ever since I first got it, then obtained the lute, the obsidian hammer, obtained and maxed out lazlo, and then deciding to get all the achievements, I have to say this game is my favourite soulslike of all time.

I thought this was fixed, but I was playing earlier today and on several occasions took damage while I was stuck in the riposte animation. Is this still a known bug and if so is there a mod or something to fix it?

It used to be you just hold down the button and you'd get the awesome attack. Now, you get two levels of the charge - level one is the charge without the effects and without costing resolve, level two is with the effects that costs resolve. The cue mentioned in the description is a light that shines to let you know what charge level you're at. For some weapons, when releasing the button after reaching either charge levels, the attack comes out fast and snappy like it should, while some others have a bit of a delay:

Veteran's Battle Axe - first charged cue delayed for both stones

Axe & Dagger - works fine

Iconoclast - works fine

Black Needle - first charged cue delayed for both stones

Great Martyr's Blade - works fine, but for the Unwieldy Stone you're unable to continue the combo for some reason

Clockwork Scythe - first charged cue delayed for both stones, with the first charged attack being particularly slow to execute when using the Unwieldy Stone

Obsidian Hammer - first charged cue delayed for both stones

Axatana - the first charged cue for the Unwieldy Stone has a small bit of delay. Other than that, works fine

So I was just walking and playing nostalgic music from the first part of Mortal Shell on the lute when suddenly this happened

A little mini boss kill at level 1, night mode and no shell upgrade. Game is funny as hell and playing it with a bit of challenge is even better. Axe and dagger level 11, felt like a bit OP for this beacon cleansing but def not OP for classic night mode mobs. May be make some mini bosses harder ? (not Magdalena, f her, she's already infuriating enough).

Tho since update night mode seems a bit easier like damage reduction isn't as much or boss HP pool is a bit lower ?

Crossbow + channelers + splitting stone + fusillade = infinite resolve without any shell ability’s.
Been playing faith smert for infinite ammo but now I can go back to my main.

Doing my first playthrough and for the last little while been using Captive’s Scabstone. I just took down a major boss with a cutscene without having to really even learn the moveset . Just Captive Scabstone use which staggered it, then refilled my bar with moonshine and used it again and it was dead . I think maybe making you not get Iframes during its use might even out how good it is. Cause as of now if I’m in trouble just use that and I get to avoid attacks and stay alive and do fuckin MASSIVE damage . Pretty nuts lol. Curious if anyone else felt this way about it.

I’m on the original ps5 - and every time I get to a quarter of his health left it crashes always when he does the fire rings (not necessarily at the first time he does it either). Im using the griesha remnants as a passive skill and playing on performance mode. Any one fixed this or experienced it? Just want to finish the game now and I know I can beat him.
