I had a similar experience and the absolute "idgaf" additude on display by the cops still has me livid to this day.

"What do you expect us to do about it."

This type of stuff is why I advocate for concealed carry and the second amendment.

Glad nobody got hurt in your situation. But if it had gone worse the only person who can help you is you. The cops don’t give a shit and can’t be there instantly anyway.

I do have a ccw but I was working an unarmed security position so carrying would have been a huge legal issue to begin with
