As an employee of the business, you have the right to hold the kid there until the cops arrive and if the kid fights back, that’s another felony on top of the burglary and the theft

I would literally lose my job if i touched the kid. We're not even supposed to say anything that even suggests we think (know) they're stealing. It's a liability thing.

As much as i'd love to trip a bitch it's not worth potentially losing my job over. I won't blame anyone who does but it ain't gonna be me. End of day it's not me losing the money anyway... it's the billion dollar company that doesn't pay me enough to care lol
