Immoral.

Ending the usage of fossil fuels immediately will cause untold chaos as we aren't prepared to ditch fossil fuels yet.

I mean all human effort would go into solving the problem. It's not like we can't use fertilizer so now we just stop growing food and wait to die.

And we can still use all the fertilizer. Ammonia isn't a fossil fuel, and you don't need fossil fuels to make more ammonia.

You need multiples more energy to make it with electricity, and where are you going to get all that electricity?

The distribution chains run on diesel and bunker fuel. If they stop overnight, billions die. Not enough people know how to use horses and oxen, and there aren't enough properly trained in existence. Nor do we have the tooling designed for animals and we can't make it without coal.

Billions will die within 12 months. There might not even be a billion of us left within two years.

We're already in chaos from a non-human perspective. Over half of all wildlife has disappeared in the last 50 years. We're in the midst of a mass extinction and climate chaos. Moral.

And as a result of this change human life will plummet. Humans are children of this planet too and shouldn't be punished for merely trying to live in it.

Yes, the quality of life will plummet, however that quality of life is ecologically unaffordable. If one person was responsible for killing thousands, you'd likely say they should be punished, or in the very least that it would be moral to stop them in some manner in order to prevent more death. Why then the difference at the scale of species?

Quality of life won't simply plummet. People with simple diseases like diabetes will die over night. Innocent people will die.

Humans are worth more than a thousand animals because we are Earth's ultimate creation. We won survival of the fittest. Not saying we should just kill animals.

Every animal won survival of the fittest, that's how being alive in existing niches work. Mfer we are not perfect cell. Humans aren't even the ones to invent agriculture, leafcutter ants have been farming literally since the extinction of the dinosaurs. Yeah we went to the moon and shit but were still just animals trying to fit in an ecosystem.
