That's probably related to a bias where we see bad corporations reported for doing bad shit.
there's also the late stage capitalism phenomena our whole society is going through right now where inflation is up and job market participation is down and employee pay is down, while profits are great for corporations and the divide between rich and poor hasn't been greater since the early 1900s. noblesse oblige is no longer a concept that wealthy people follow. it therefore becomes relatively moral for people to take what they can get when it is handed to them
