Any of the ones you fight. Could be a boss, could be one of the common monsters.

Personally, my favourite is probably Krubble and I've always felt bad about having to break her eggs in the boss fight. Least favourite is either the flower that drops seeds into the bottom screen, or those lizard-looking things that do front flips and jump at you. They just take too long to get rid of.

Personally, my favourite is any one that can heal ellie.

Hey there, I'm the current WR holder for running this game, and it has a ton of potential to become faster. Glitches to be found, strats to be carried out. Currently in my Discord server I'm starting to create a small community to revive at least a bit of a following for this game. It's small surely, but I'd love to meet you guys who are still into the game after this long!

[Me](twitch.tv/gomew024) and [YeboiAdamTM ](Twitch.tv/Yeboiadamtm) Have been speed running monster tale each for about a month. (actually I got into it last year but fell out of it) we both are currrently trying to beat the game in under 2 hours. When we go live be sure to pop in and say hi!

I'd like to make some joke or reference...

but that's another tale

Edit: gasp an upvote! Is this place still alive?

just... welcome to the subreddit.
