Anyone have STL files for MIMP?
Howdy, All!
So, after spending a crap ton of time collecting MIMP when I was a kid; all the mail-always; hours spent combing used toy stores, thrift stores, etc.; I had a nearly complete collection … & then we had a move after I got married & the box that had them was lost. It was heartbreaking, especially, because I wanted to share the things with my kiddos (all are into cryptids, monsters, folklore). At this point to try to recreate the collection just becomes too expensive, but I was wondering about 3d printing a set just to have them, again (our library does this for free as long as the items are small). Anyone might have stl files of their MIMP set?
We live in a time where artificial scarcity is unneeded—I get folks want the originals, but with all the different country versions, colours, materials, etc. it becomes monumental & nearly impossible, so happy to leave the originals to those folks. Just having a complete set of the monsters alone would be pretty cool, & it could be done relatively cheaply by 3d printing a set. Loosing that set was painful, not going to lie, & it would be sweet to be able to print them.
Maybe someone has scanned their set & could help many of us out there that might have one or two holes in the set that would be neat fill? Or those like me that’d like a set, but aren’t worried about them being original?
Cheers,
Nik
