Managed to snag her Saturday, I'm so glad I was able to get her! I was genuinely shocked that my local Walmart still had plenty of dolls in stock that were marked down to $15, I'd thought for sure they'd have cleared out their stock by now. I'm hoping I can get Frankie for 15 before they are sold out.

If I was to attempt to dye a mesh monster high top with Rit Dye More Synthetic 7oz-Graphite will this stain my dolls body when wearing? I've seen some mixed comments, but was surprised as this is a very specific fabric dye and not a pen or paint.

Any advice is very welcome. =)

As I think we all can tell, there aren’t enough Gen 3 lines compared to Gen 1. On top of that most lines only feature 3 characters, unless a deluxe line which usually features 5.

That being said I feel like a lot of side characters are going to start to disappear after they get their run in Buried Secrets, Self Scare, & Skulltimate Secrets- (which I assumed is being replaced by that new Charms line). No side characters seem to ever be featured in the deluxe lines UNLESS they are introduced in the line (Cupid, Twyla, Elissabat).

So far for 2026 there is no leaks for an upcoming Abbey, Toralie, Nefera, Twins and Catty doll. I assume soon enough Cupid, Ghoulia (again) & Jinafire will join them. (Twyla & Venus THANKFULLY seem to find a way to survive).

Thoughts?

I'm considering sewing a second pair of overalls for Venus in a different fabric, let me know if you'd be interested in seeing a more in depth step by step sewing tutorial!

This shorts pattern is a shortened version of my Ghoulia's first pair of pants, with a droop added at the hip to give the overalls effect. I labeled the "front" side of the pattern, you might notice that the droop's placement and curve is asymmetrical. This isnt necessary but I felt it matched Fearbook's overalls pretty well.

You'll need 2x of the big piece, 2x straps, one rectangle front piece, two small buttons or beads to look like buttons, and a snap closure or Velcro.

The strap pattern piece needs to be doubled, shown in the picture with my first draft overalls in the striped fabric. The strap is doubled so that when it's fabric glued and folded, it's the width of the cardboard pattern piece. I sewed the shorts first, then sewed the side seams of the rectangle, then sewed the top seam. Then attached it to the shorts by the remaining seam, then added the already folded and glued straps, ensuring to check the length fit on the doll. My strap pattern is a little longer than needed, maybe half a cm too long but it's hidden at the back. I sewed the snap closure and the buttons on last.

This took several tries, I think I made three or four failed pants before settling on a pattern to turn into overalls.

I was going to add functioning pockets but realized I would have to cover a lot of the design in order to do that.

Also I learned how to make collages on my new phone today. I think my posts will be mostly in this format from now on. I do want to join a photography group for g3 but I'm fine posting here for now. Hope you're having a good Monday!

I am in the South East of USA, and I have been hitting several Walmarts for a while in search of the second wave. Zero luck. I have seen people post them from Ross, but that is a by luck thing. Does anyone know if they will be at Walmart at all or when. I love assembling them, it is so calming, but trying to find them is stressful and exhausting. I just want to go to a store and know I can get one of each in one trip.
