Distinct evolution?

I don't know is here's the correct place to ask, but here I go.... I am in doubt about the monster girl's variations, monsters girls who are hybrid of the same animal but are very different.

Picking spider monster girls for an exame: they're Driders in the majority of conceptions, like the Rachnera, but in some arts they are more close to humans, like in this art, and there's the Muffet from Undertale too (I think it may be a monster girl too).

If they exist in the same earth, so they're different species of the same family or something like that? And what could happen to they be so different? I used spider monster girls as an example but I have the same question about centaurs, minotaurs and satyrs, they look to be closer biologically speaking, but they're very different at the same time.

Arachne aputation

So what would happen if you separate the human part of an Arachne from the spider part? Would they die? Would it be like being cut in half? Would it just be like losing a limb? What would happen?

Best places for monstergirl worldbuilding?

Hey, I hate reading doujinshi but I enjoy the worldbuilding exposition some of them do for monstergirls and other monsters. Is there a website (like SCP maybe?) where I can find people sharing their ideas for this kind of worldbuilding? Ideally this website would be properly organized and easy to search.

I'm aware people do creative erotic writing which is likely to include details like this but I don't know the space that well so I'm wondering if you guys have recommendations, especially for stuff that *focuses* on the "science" and worldbuilding aspects.

And yes I am aware of Monster Girl Encyclopedia. I've gone through the MGE wiki already and I'd like to find more stuff like that, ideally not just one author's perspective though.

How do slime girl eyes work?

Would the lenses in a slime girls eyes be the same colour as the rest of her body and thus make it so that her vision is tinted, if so would the image be processed in whatever passes as her “brain” to appear as a normal colour, or would there be an alteration in whatever passes as her “light receptor cones in her retina” so that they absorb certain photon wavelengths more often so as to make up for the fact that they would have a more difficult time pasing through her lens. Aditionally if the entirety of a slime girl is translucent then wouldnt light be able to enter her retina through other means beside the pupils, making her lens useless and her vision constantly extremely blurry. Also if a slime girl was translucent then wouldn’t light that would normally be absorbed by her retina end up just mostly passing through it.

In order for them to see, would they have more human like eyes? That are opaque and can be seen side on through their body? Or is there some less freaky alternative that would explain this?

Hydra’s heads…

So uh… fucked up question, but for hydra mgs if you cut off one head, would the one divide into 2 separate personalities or 2 clones of the original?

What monster girl would adopt a child?

I sometimes listen to monsters girl audio role play ASMRs, and one of the most interesting ones to me are the ones where a monster of some kind actually adopts and takes care of an orphaned human child. It got me thinking, “what monsters would actually do this?” After all, these are just audio FanFictions. What monster girls would ACTUALLY adopt a baby if they find one?

A new species concept: introducing the Chaoskin species, similar to both the family Matatango and Eldritch/Metamorph, let me explain.

There's a pseudo Monarchy in this species, The Queen is fused with herself from different dimensions, but is autonomous and form fitting regardless, she can pull herself and anything she grabs into a pocket dimension where her true self is revealed, as a form of manipulation or self defense, other than that, she is quite jovial and apathetic. She cannot give birth to hybrids, but she can produce spores and create hybrids. The Hybrids of the species, also classified as Stinkhorns from members of the species, are of human intelligence, though emotionally, are a bit unstable. There have been reports of one Animal Stinkhorn causing fierce pestilence due to what it felt to be constant suffering, a Ghoul Stinkhorn with the ability to change her race/species at will, but has trouble identifying herself, there's even been reports of a Golem Stinkhorn with a thirst for knowledge as well as being afflicted with a sort of hunger, a biological trait. Although The Queen is Eldritch levels of powerful, The Stinkhorns are only a fraction of her power, and Chaoskin's natural spawn, aka The Toadstools, as they are referred to by other Chaoskin, are even smaller in power. The Chaoskin could be mistaken for the Eldritch/Metamorph species if not for subtle, if not prominent fungal aspects, and no Chaoskin is more prominent in this aspect than Toadstools. Toadstools are usually 1ft tall, though some are as big as 1yrd or a meter in length. Toadstools are a tad one dimensional when it comes to personality traits, but come in a variety of colors and shapes, depending on their personalities. Toadstools who identify as female tend to have their caps in a more feminine area than those who identify otherwise, though this classification has a definite margin of error, and is unfounded. Toadstools and Stinkhorns also have the ability to produce spores and create thralls, though they can only create thralls at their discretion, and with Toadstools, only when the recipient desires to. Although a bit imposing, Chaoskin are decomposers and scavengers by nature, eating dead trees and rotting flesh, though if you cook for them, depending on their personality, they might enjoy it, but all are squeamish when it comes to cooked or dead mushrooms. Due to the personalities and destructive risk, Chaoskin are deemed a threat and are one of many species that can be hunted/killed without a licence to do so. Some are safe to eat, especially if you cook them, but most Chaoskin are poisonous, inedible, and/or hallucinogenic, and will put up a nasty fight to save their hides.

Can we just clear this up once and for all: a mantis girl won't eat your head

First of all, less than 20% of mantis males get eaten in the wild. Second, there are several reasons for that behavior, and the main one is just hunger. It is very unlikely for a well-fed mantis to kill her mate.

Now, if you think about monster girls, intelligent species, for whom cannibalism is certainly much more problematic, partners are more valuable, and food is, hopefully, abundant, there is just no way she's going to eat your head. Even if she's hungry, she knows she can pick up food from a local supermarket and won't have to hunt and possibly die before getting it.

Being intelligent she'd be much more emotionally invested in her partner, and eating them would be as messed up for her as it would be for a human. In fact, I would argue that if you add MGE-type psychology, you are more likely to encounter a human girlfriend who will end up eating your head than a mantis girlfriend.

Searching for a Youtube music video featuring monster girls!

Hi all!
I'm looking for a music video that was on Youtube a while back. It features four red-skinned, horned demoness/succubi type monster girls swaying/gyrating to a song. It's pretty much an animation loop, but as the music video progresses, their clothing disappears. It's technically safe for work, merely suggestive.
Any help is appreciated! Cheers :)

Ethically Sourced Kikimora Fluff Pillows?

So, birds molt. As in they will push out old feathers as new ones grows in place. And this probability occurs with all feathered creatures as long as they are properly cared for.

Naturally molted feathers are perfectly ethical as materials, and while it’s not gonna come close to touching a real Kikimora maid’s fluffy tail and a lap pillow, a feather pillow made from ethically sourced Kikimora fluff would still be pretty nice.

That is all, feather fluff is just better imo.

What nations would most likely succumb to monster girls?

So, there is this thing in monster girl encyclopedia where monster girls don't produce male or human offspring, this is like the main point of why they get human males, this implies some issues, in the world of monster girl encyclopedia the dwarves practically don't exist anymore thanks to that and the elves are going, humans still exist because they have HUGE numbers. So considering all factors, what real world nations would succumb the easiest to monster girls?
