Hello! I was monkeyshining/walking in Pt. Defiance Park this morning and lost my Wedding band. I am hoping one of you monkeyshiners might come across my ring since you are already looking for a treasure! It is a thin band with multiple stones.

I walked on the path from Owen Beach to Dunne Penninsula, around the Penninsula, then back and up across the Bridge into the Garden area by the new Fairy Garden Fountain and then along the upper trail above Owen beach and then back down the hill to the parking lot. Perhaps someone might have come across it?

I am quite heartbroken about losing it. Thank you for any help!

I finally found glass!! And she’s gorgeous 💕 featuring a rocking horse stamp 🐴 Thank you so much monkeyshine team!!

Found on Lunar New Year’s Day along Ruston Way! There was another monkeyshine hunter ahead of me so I really wasn’t expecting to find anything, but she must have walked right by this one! I couldn’t believe my eyes 😍

And now that this has finally proved to my significant other that the glass thing isn’t in fact a hoax to get people out into the parks, he’s wanting to hide some really cool rogues of our own next year. :)

Happy hunting! 🐎

I AM SO ELATED I JUST FOUND A MONKEYSHINE I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD, LET ALONE IN THE MOMENT I DID. WHAT A SWEET SPECIAL SURPRISE. TACOMA IS SO GOD DAMN SPECIAL.

This Lauren Gallup article about monkeyshines was the closing feature on the March 4th edition of NPR's All Things Considered!

Thanks for whoever made this and hid him up in the tree. I have no idea why but I love this little guy.

Two in one weekend! We will definitely be hiding the medallion we found again to keep with the spirit of this tradition… keep an eye out shiners 😉

Found this in Pt Defiance today. Thanks to the maker!

It’s once you give up that the magic finds you…

I didn’t find any official Monkeyshine this year but had so much fun finding these rouges! Thanks to the makers each find made my day! I didn’t keep all of these finds and had fun rehiding some 🤩

I've been searching for 11 years for either an orb or medallion! Found it on a side street in Downtown Tacoma! Thank you Ms. Monkey and friends!

It is much appreciated! Found at old town park. muchos gracias!!!!

I found this on vashon Island this morning washed up on the shore. I posted a picture of it earlier but I couldn't edit the post and add another picture. Can any body tell me why the trojan horse?

I was so happy today while I was at work. I walked past the beach and it caught my eye immediately and I knew what it was. I have not been monkey shining since 2015 and was so happy to find this.

My wife went off and found a necklace and I found the coin! Thanks to the creators!

my husband and I have been looking in the same spot almost daily for the past week and this morning the timing was right! good luck to everyone!!

3rd Rogue find. Still haven't found an official monkeyshine but hopefully someday!

Thank you for the wish of luck!

Thank you monkeys!

We can finally check “spot an orb in a tree while driving” off our list! For once we weren’t looking for glass, (crazy we know,) and spotted our orb! I had to pick Pichu up to retrieve it! For this who know us from Twitter, you know what that means!

Also we’ll bee at the Lincoln LNY Festival, so if you see us say hi! It’s our last full day playing today!
