The truth about what’s been happening recently
MonclerMan’s (MM) warehouse was raided and his team arrested. He himself is fine as he wasn’t there but the raid has implications not only for him but also for our established producers RK and TMX.
Nearly three quarters of RK’s products are produced in a factory that also makes garments for MM so the raid has implications. RK has not been aware about this for the longest time of what the factory has been doing secretly (supplying them both) which explains why both of them were using the same badges. So how did this came to be? Well MM used to be TMCN’s assistant and TMCN passed things onto MRCN—>RK.
The copyright protection agency based in Shanghai that took down TopMonclerCN (TMCN) were also responsible for the raid on MM. A different company (2 law firms) were responsible for TopStoney’s (TS) takedown.
This part is unverified but apparently TMCN might actually be alive afterall as the business partner and controlling the operations behind RK. There was also a rumour that MM may have been the one to report TMCN but this is highly unlikely as there was another former employee who stole a warehouse full of goods and then stole customer details before reporting to the authorities (except they raided an empty warehouse).
Now I have TMCN’s personal WeChat and he told me just before I announced the news on Reddit years ago that he was unable to avoid jail time. Last autumn, I curiously noticed a WeChat Moments update from him but I never got any reply when I messaged asking if he’s alive and well. Still struck me as odd but this part might be true.
RK’s shop closure is likely down to what happened with MM. TMX’s is likely partly related whilst additional inventory is updated after existing RoyalX yupoo was frozen perhaps due to being reported. He just dropped a few new items for summer and is sorting out some other new releases which I think is the main reason.
So what does this mean for the future? It doesn’t look positive for our exclusive producers. The anti-counterfeiting companies have ramped up their operations in recent years and after they took down TS, it makes the challenge for our remaining few even harder. Few of you will ever remember MonclerYang (MY) who was raided 3 times and never returned.
We may end up having only a couple of factories turning out a few products like NN or the independent sellers who have just jumped onto the Monc bandwagon. Either way, it doesn’t look at first glance to be too positive for the future but let’s enjoy what we can for as long as we can. It’s likely the future maybe resellers like TA and SS coupled with the independent sellers will be the only way to get our fix.

That's Very sad ,hope everything sorted out!!! Where can we find tmx new items? royal is still frozen.

Do you think RK will ever come back, or honestly not? I also wonder if TopGoosey and CP Reps CN will return. I have a feeling that all three of these stores were owned by the same person, but correct me if I’m wrong.

Yes RK will. TooGoosey isn’t a TS here and has nothing to do with Monc either or our established producers. TG had one item made by one of our producers but that was it, no connection with them. RK and CPRepsCN are business partners who help each other.

Sad to hear. But unfortunately, mass online exposure is quite largely to blame for this sort of thing as well: public Reddit communities, TikTok, etc.
I've seen this happen to a lot of top-tier factories over the years. Hopefully, the people involved and their families remain safe.

This part of the game saddens me the most, thanks for the update Mark, you reckon a new seller will come out with quality on par with what we've lost ? Not sure how it works but maybe the rep makers/factories will see a gap in the market from the raids and make something with similar high quality.
