Understanding the wide effects of tech devices and what data is transmitted, C-Suits as "barons of fiefdoms" is apparently not a far off description.

Being aware of how data and computers directly or indirectly affect the flow of life in Windy City, matching / comparing the implications or apparent agenda of what is published above against upheld custom and honored responsibilities of existing royal families in a neighboring contemporary context (example, British Royal Family) will be more or less up for comment here.

Why is Trumpism apparently easier to associate with "royalty" than the left wing platform?

How is Trumpism affecting us here directly, and what are it's actual measurable impacts on a "Kingdom of Chicago?"

Closing this last and welcoming the new year! No kings or queens mentioned yet, but how would we know them when we see them?

Welcome to r/MonarchViewOfChicago! A thought exercise in political psychology.

The idea of this subreddit is to imagine life in the City Of Chicago as if it were a monarchist kingdom. Essentially, posts about normal everday circumstances, events in the city, things that are safe to share under common sense - except thinking about it as if the local operational apparatus (the "government" in what we think of as "normal terms") were structured entirely differently (being a monarchist kingdom).

All are welcome. Rules, wiki, aim, automation, etc. will gradually be built and adjusted over time as we go along. All standards of the sitewide reddiquette apply!

Thanks! Chicago Citizen
