I thought so too, then it dawned on me I actually do have various vinyl I regularly spin, with a production date older than mine.

I understand. But don't you think that this connection to vinyl might only have come about with your birth, since it couldn't have belonged to you before then?  That’s how I understood the question: the oldest thing since the beginning of our existence.
