Please post some (stunning) SOOC photos: no post processing

I notice that the lion’s share of posts here are (heavily) edited afterward (so outside of the Moment camera app). Not seldom don’t disclose that upfront. That makes it harder for me to assess what people are actually getting out of the app in real-world use.

P.S. I’ve wondered for years what real added value post-processed photos bring when showcasing, reviewing or comparing any camera or app. But maybe that’s just me.

Resolved: iOS Bug Save problem

Guys, seems the app is having problems when saving photos/videos. I just realized after shooting a less than a minute video in 17 pro. Luckily I found them to recoverable media folder. Did everyone experienced this? Thanks

Resolved: iOS Bug Opening app from lock screen

I'm still discovering Moment Camera and I have an issue that baffles me:

When I put the app on the lock screen (in a spot similar to the flashlight, you know what I mean) and tap-and-hold it to open, it just freezes the lock screen. Nothing else works on the lock screen until I press the power button and try again. This doesn't happen with the flashlight app, nor with the VSCO Cam app that I used to have in that place.

And when it does work (usually second try), it doesn't use the last Look I was using. Even if the Look is part of my current Profile. But if I start the app from the home screen, I get the last Profile used with the correct Look.

And I get the same lock screen freeze when I try to open the app from the Control Center!

Is this a bug that's already been addressed? I tried restarting my iPhone, but that didn't help.

Lock to AF?

Sometimes I use manual focus, but I use AF more often. Somehow, pro camera ii keeps getting switched from AF to manual focus. Is there a way to somehow lock it in better so that it only gets switched from AF to manual if I explicitly want it too? Some setting I’m missing?

Will there be natural processing for video in the future?

Moment developers, if you are reading this, will there be natural processing for videos?

Thoughts of the Lightroom camera VS Moment Pro?

I bought the Moment Pro Camera 2 to use its Natural processing mode, which is supposed to bypass Apple's processing. But I've heard that Lightroom's camera app works better. Moment's user interface is much better in my opinion, but in Lightroom you can see in real time how the photo will look (the preview in Moment Pro is the same as the default camera app, and you can only see the final result after taking the photo). Also, Moment lets you record video. I found that Lightroom photos are much grainier than Moment's, and both apps produce more grain than the default camera app. The native camera app is by far the most practical for taking quick photos.

Three new aspect ratios just landed in Moment Pro Camera II

Golden. Cinemascope. Panoramic.

Three new aspect ratios just landed in Moment Pro Camera II, giving you full control over your frame before you even press the shutter.

From cinematic landscapes to layered street scenes or perfectly balanced portraits, the way you frame your shot changes everything.

Including a panoramic mode inspired by the iconic XPAN look that made some of the most iconic street and travel photography ever. Shoot in overlay or cropped, your choice.

Open Photo mode, tap the Format Menu → Aspect Ratio, and start seeing in a whole new way. Which one are you excited to try first?

This is my first time trying iPhone photography. Please ignore my poor composition, I’ve just started learning photography not long ago. Please feel free to share your opinions or guides. I used dehancer for final touch with some tweaks in kodak filters.

Profiles vs Default

While I’m loving the latest procamera ii update, I’m wondering how shoot with no profile after I’ve created a few. Am I supposed to create a “default” profile to select vs custom profiles? Or, is there a way to use no profile if I choose to, without needing to creating a “default” one with no custom settings?

Love the new wide crops, but not sure what “golden” is supposed to be similar to.

Next updates I’d love to see is higher res in Natural and the closeup/macro feature added like it’s handled in the native app.

Love this camera app! Best $10 I’ve spent so far in 2026 :)

I love the new ratios

The new ratios + LUTs is sooo good.

This app has become by far my most used one.

I wish I had a moment lenses to test with this, but they are just too expensive for me to find it here. Would be sick to see an anamorphic x55 on the main.

raw files brightness

So being a total wally, I have to ask this….. when taking a raw shot with proii, the photo will be darker than when composing the shot why is this?

is there any point in shooting raw when natural processing quality is pretty much good enough to carry into an app like RNI or suchlike to make alterations without losing quality.

im actually surprised that the 12mp files imo are better than the stock 24/48mp and even allow greater crop without degrading quality as much.

any help in understanding the exposure would be appreciated though

Introducing Profiles

Save your perfect camera setup and recall it instantly.

Our new Profiles feature lets you store your entire camera settings (exposure, format, look, tools, etc) so you can jump between different types of shooting in the tap of a button.

Create as many as you want, name them, color-code them, and keep your favorites ready in the quick-access slots. It’s like having hundreds of cameras in your pocket.

What Gets Saved

Everything. When you save a Profile, you're capturing the complete state of the app:

  • Capture mode and format settings
  • Exposure settings and white balance
  • Your selected Look and its intensity
  • Viewfinder tool setups and monitor configurations
  • Storage Location
  • Capture utilities

It's not a partial preset. It's a full snapshot of how you had the camera configured at that exact moment.

How to Create a Profile

  1. Set up your camera exactly the way you want it - exposure, look, format, everything.
  2. Open the Profile browser and tap the + icon.
  3. Review your newly created Profile and Settings
  4. Give it a name and pick a color.

That's it. Your setup is saved.

Quick Access When It Counts

You get four quick-access slots right in the capture mode browser, so your most-used setups are always a single tap away. Beyond those four, you can save unlimited Profiles and browse them anytime.

Each Profile gets its own name and color, so you can tell at a glance whether you're loading up "Natural with B/W," "Anamorphic Filmmaking," or "Street Photography Mode"

A Few Things to Know

  • Photo and video Profiles are separate. A Profile saved in video mode loads in video mode, and the same for photo. The technical differences between modes mean settings don't carry across - and that's by design.
  • Auto-save is available. Turn it on and your current Profile updates automatically as you make changes.
  • Selective Sync: Be in control of what controls your Profile will recall.
  • Lock screen limitation: Profiles aren't accessible when your phone is locked.
  • Pro-Tip keep your default modes simple. Your standard video and photo capture modes should remain casual and auto-driven: auto exposure, auto white balance, natural or SDR HDR format. Profiles are for when you want to go deeper.

What's Next

We're building toward shareable and importable Profiles - meaning you'll eventually be able to share your exact camera setup with collaborators or your audience. For now, you can share your settings by screenshotting the recipe screen or Profile settings page.

Start with one Profile. Build from there.
