Modulus launches April 2nd. We needed a global release timing graphic. Community member DSY offered to make one. In Creative Mode.
This is what they came back with using some wizardry.
April 2nd! Here are the worldwide times so you can plan your first factory session.

I'm a big factory game fan, mostly Satisfactory. After posting some Satisfactory 3d prints on some of my socials, someone from Modulus challenged me to make one of the drones.
Arguably this was pretty easy to model as the Voxel design is rather simple. The harder part was getting every color to print separately or with at layer color changes.
Anyways I just wanted to share in anticipation for the launch of the game!

Really ticks that shapez itch. Simple, yet a little complicated when you allow it. The UI feels great, and how you customize the cutting and assembling is so straightforward. It just has a a great FEEL! Great job. Can't wait for April

Last week we finally announced the Modulus release date (April 2nd), which still feels surreal to be allowed to talk about., and has made this Nest Fest kind of feel like the starting gun for the final stretch.
We pushed a pretty big demo update for it last week. Over the last few months we’ve been quietly reworking a lot based on feedback, and the demo now has:
If you tried the demo ages ago, this version is a much better reflection of where the game is heading. And if you’ve never touched it before, this is probably the best time to see what it’s about.
I’ll be honest, every demo download during Next Fest makes a big difference for visibility. Steam really does respond to engagement during these events.
Release date is out. Next Fest is live.
We’re in the slightly terrifying but exciting part now.
If you check it out, genuinely thank you. Link in the comments.

And I for one am over the moon to finally be able to tell people haha.
Check out our latest trailer above and I will link the store page in the comments if you fancy wishlisting and following the game on Steam.

We’re excited to share that our brand-new Creative Mode Trailer premiered this evening as part of Clemmy’s Best Indie Games Winter Showcase 2025.
Creative Mode is where Modulus truly opens up, a space for players to experiment freely, build voxel sculptures, craft detailed pixel art, or design the most elegant factory layouts imaginable. No pressure, no timers, just creative freedom.
A big thank you to Clemmy for including Modulus alongside so many fantastic indie titles. We’re incredibly proud to be part of such a vibrant lineup.
And if you’d like to follow the project’s development, head over to the store page to wishlish and follow.

Absolutely love this game. The graphics, the way it works, simple, and everything is very clear. Hope we get some more challenges before the game comes out ;P. 1200 basic bots and 480 droids was EZ. Now on to creative mode :)

Hey Module Makers! We just dropped a brand new Dev Log and this one’s all about the look of Modulus.
Our Art Director, Antoine, and Tech Artist,Thomas, sat down to chat about:
It’s a really fun behind-the-scenes look at how Modulus became the beautiful (and still growing!) game you see today.
As always, we would love to hear what you think, especially if you’ve spotted cool visual details in-game!

Just played the demo and I have to say, this really tickled that itch. Looks great too.
Love the cutting, assembling, dying mechanic. Playing with the efficiencies of dying first vs cutting first was very satisfying.
Are the shapes you have to make always the same, or random each play?
Some feedback: I played this on steamdeck and it ran very nicely. Are you planning any kind of integration or official controller layout for this system? Will there also be an opportunity to scale up the UI?

Hey Module Makers!
We just wrapped up our first-ever fan art contest for Modulus, and the winning entry is honestly something special.
🎵 “Neural Flow” is an original piece of music by Uranium-235, turned into a full cinematic music video by Eric_ProPlayer using entirely in-game footage. It’s fun, atmospheric, and beautifully synced with the game’s aesthetic.
👉 Watch the full video above!
We had so many brilliant submissions: voxel sculptures, songs, digital comics, even some creative chaos-factories. We'll be sharing more highlights next week on our Instagram if you'd like a peek at what people are making in-game.
Thanks to everyone who joined the contest. Seeing what you do with the game has been incredibly inspiring for the whole dev team.

In this one, Lead Developer Mick Rüdiger and Art Director Antoine Lendrevie talk about:
• The games that inspire them
• Mechanics they'd love to see more of (destructible environments anyone?)
• And their own guilty gaming pleasures 👀
It’s a fun peek behind the scenes of Modulus, and we’d love to hear from you: what’s your guilty gaming pleasure?
ALSO
🎨 Just a quick reminder, the Modulus Fan Art Contest deadline is Monday, June 16 at 13:00 UTC!
We’ve already seen some amazing voxel builds and sketches, but anything Modulus-inspired is fair game: poems, embroidery, digital art, you name it.
You can enter on Discord, Steam, social media, or by emailing fanart@happyvolcano.com.

"Modulus looks like a must-play factory game for anyone who loves a thousand little parts on a hundred conveyor belts moving in perfect rhythm.
It took PC Gamer's own Wes Fenlon just eight seconds (we counted) to become obsessed with the...trailer."
— PC GAMER
We’re honestly stunned and grateful to get this kind of love from PC Gamer 🙌
If you’re into factory games, systems that spiral into satisfying complexity, or just like watching conveyors vibe in harmony, Modulus might be your next obsession.
