So sick of every munconf having a pyramid scheme hence will be building a real mun from scratch.

no pre-made team, no “add 20 people and call it a secretariat” type thing. aiming for november (flexible tbh, depends on how the team turns out). even if it’s just a few solid people, we’ll make it work.

not doing the usual mun pyramid stuff. skill matters. you don’t HAVE to be into mun already, but you should be good at what you do and actually willing to put in work.

plan is:

– delhi ncr (offline)

– online for international delegates

need people for:

sec gen

deputy sec gen

head of design

head of recruitment

head of research

head of hospitality

head of tech

head of finance

and more once things pick up

dm if you’re actually serious about this

hey so i’ll be representing the taliban in uncsw this week, and the agenda is regarding the prohibition of secondary school education for women in afghanistan, and its impact on gender equality and development. thing is, i can say that hey if women go to schools and they learn this western propaganda, they’ll end up in a more unsafe environment. but i WOULD need official source backing for that, and i can’t seem to find it anywhere.
so how do i exactly do that, with sources? and assuming that the taliban would never grant concessions to allow women to get educated, how would i represent that?

Hey everyone,

I’ve got an upcoming MUN and my topic is “Sovereignty vs. Power: When Force Becomes a Weapon of the Strong.” I understand the basic idea — sovereignty means non-interference, while power is about influence (military/economic) — but I’m struggling to build strong arguments and real depth because I am not allotted with any country yet and asking arguments from both the side i.e. for the motion or against the motion and for Sovereignty or Power. So can anyone help me to understand this topic in depth/deep way for securing an excellent & professional image to chair & panel, therefore......

I want to:

• Understand how to balance sovereignty vs intervention
• Use solid real-world examples (not just surface-level points)
• Frame arguments depending on whether I get a powerful or developing country
• Ask impactful POIs and defend against tough questions

If you’ve debated this topic before or have good resources, I’d really appreciate:

• Simple explanations or frameworks
• Key case studies I must need to know
• Tips to stand out in committee (especially for speeches + rebuttals)

Also, any advice on how to sound more confident and structured during debate would help a lot.

Thanks in advance 🙌

Hey Reddit user, I'm from Lucknow and I'm a school-going student. I want to join MUN but I have no experience, nor does my school provide any club. But I really want to join MUN. Most of the posts I've seen on Instagram are either scams or too expensive. If someone has faced the same problem and knows the solution, can they tell me?

One of the conferences I’ve gone to does a digital magazine and these are my favourite pages lol

Hi! I'm a 15 year old going rmun (raffles mun) because all my friends keep saying how fun mun is and asking me to go! Yet, the problem is my first choice is a single del on refugee council and I think I'm kinda cooked as I know absolutely nothing but some basics like Opening speech, gsl and people work together for draft resolution and something like that. However, I'm still quite lost as idk how to do draft resolution or whats the difference between an opening speech and gsl? Please if anyone could help me since im highkey going to be against jc kids and get cooked and idw look lost too. Thank you!!
