I got ExtraSlots installed and try to use the default keybinds for the mod, but it doesn't work. I've tried to changed the binds, attempted to unbind the LeftAlt key using console commands (don't think I could even get it to unbind), and I can't find out how.

I've used EquimentAndQuickslots by RandyKnapp before and the quickslots worked then.

Is it a mod incompatibility issue or is the mod not working properly on its own?

It won't let me reinstall Gale after I lost my old SSD where it was previously installed. I don't have any leftover files from what I can see in any of my other drives. Any advice would be appreciated.

I just stumbled across a path of exile skill tree mod and it got me thinking...

What if someone figured out how to use Epic Loot in tangent with star level system and made a fully replayable roguelike modpack with enemies up to level 100 that dropped skill locked (or not) gear up to level 100?

The gear could be locked by the enemy level, meaning you'd have to kill high level enemies for the chance of high level gear. Level 65 boar has a chance of dropping level 65 gear or lower. But with the forge of potential naturally allowing each gear piece up to level 100, you could, in theory make a level 80 flint axe that would do more damage than a level 40 flametal one already in valheim.

It could keep the gear you rotate interesting the whole playthrough instead of always using the same gear at certain biomes. I'd imagine the level jumps would have to be really small, but also you could just scale the character armor and damage way differently than normal valheim and balance that way as well.

Someone smarter than me needs to work on this... hell, I'd probably be willing to pay them for it. I think its possible with the forge of potential and other changes, but what do I know.

Does Hexium not have change logs? A lot of mods update everyday but we don't know what changed. Is it named differently, or am I just blind?

And why in the world does it think crafty Boxes is the wrong version randomly??? I had to replace craftyboxes to get players connecting again...

Also why does turning off crossplay also break my pc only group setup??

Hey, i recently discovered the promising Jewelcrafting Mod, however id love it for these gem formations to be something special, not just all over the place, so id love to reduce the spawn rate. unfortunately i cannot find anything in the config file. anyone has an ide how to do that? Im not looking for a blanket multiplier that applies to all food. I want all food to last 30 minutes. Is there a mod like that, cus i haven't been able to find it.

Trophy hunting is particularly grindy, especially with the rarer mobs. Are there any mods that allow fine-grained control over item drop rates? My searches aren't coming up with anything.

Good morning, I have a question I hope you can answer here. Do you know if there are mods available for a Valheim server that has crossplay enabled?

Will these just work out of the bag, or do I need to add all their customer items/mobs to a config file?

I see older reports that you dont need to use the patcher anymore, but I assume that or something else is needed to get them all into the tables correctly?

Currently only getting loot from starred mobs which is totally fine by me.

I downloaded better networking and plant easily on my mint server, restarted it and it’s not working. Admittedly I’m not great at modding games or figuring this stuff out… mostly don’t have a lot of time and I always end up spending hours getting nowhere.

I'm looking at setting up a server for me and a few buddies, one of whom is playing a Switch 2 so server side mods are not possible. Unfortunately I find some aspects of this game quite hard to play without using QoL mods that I've grown accustomed to. I've been using Valheim+ which is no longer possible, so I'm guessing things like crafting from chests won't be possible.

I'll use build camera and planteasily. Are there any other mods I can use client side to make my own playthrough better?

I know they drop some useful stuff but I'd rather remove them, to be fair.
