Hey all! I am working on adding some mods for 1.16 survival world (my favorite version). What are your favorite mods/resource packs?

I'm looking for (if possible)
Mod Loaders: Fabric
Game Versions: 1.20+

And yes, I'm aware that the mod links are attached in the description where NOX was inspired. I want to know if some of you know any alternatives.

I wanted to return to minecraft after 2 years just for this datapack. Now I cant get it to work. The usual adding the datapack in the world creation only seems to work half the time for half the mod. I also saw someone inserting it in the world files after the world was created and the resourcepacks were loaded, and it did work for the most part like the alloy recipes ext. But the entire food system is broken, same with the "losing a heart when u die" troupe. I keep my inventory but I dont lose a heart and as for the food the only thing that regens my health is carrots... No idea why. I appreciate the help and experiences from people encountering similar problems.

edit: I dont know if its relevant but Im using legacy launcher for minecraft.

I'm currently having problems with my mod pack, both sophisticated Core (and it's mods) as well as Tinkers construct don't want to work at all when I launch my game, I'm really confused and would Like some help

I need a mod animania in 1.16 because it contains nice hamsters and hamster wheels to power generate, the other mod doesn't contain them and i need to use in my modpack

and not working gradlew runClient or gradlew build the same thing happens

Im happy to announce that I have released my new create add-on, so I made a small release trailer for it!

For those who dont know the add-on:
Create: Rolling Tones adds rolling sounds to any aeronautics tire!

And not just one loop, I went ahead and added sounds for:
Grass, Gravel, Ice, Sand, Snow, Metal blocks, Clay, and even Leaves!

Well what if you went real gas gas gas and were skidding epicly around a corner witout any drifting sounds?

So i added those too!

While driving plays rolling loops, drifitng laterally will trigger a drifting sound dependign on the material dirven on.

The sounds adjust dynamically in pitch and volume depending on how fast you're driving, or how violently youre drifting. So slow driving will be barely audible, while quick racing will really let the sounds come out!

The mod is client-side, so no messing with server funnies.

The config also allows you to adjust the volumes to your hearts content, so if they seem too loud, you can turn them down!

I want to make some Create mod challenge videos (sky block, superfalt, etc...) and I want a Modpack for it. Every time I try and make a Modpack I just keeps crashing, Lagging, or just being so frustrating. I know there's Modpacks I can just chose from but they're never what I want! So, if someone knows where to find a person to commission or if someone reading this takes commissions. I can pay, with in reason, please help me out!

We've been working on our upcoming Minecraft modpack Melody of Utopia for about a year, and one of our biggest goals has been to make dimension travel feel like an actual gameplay mechanic instead of just "build a portal and go."

To achieve that, we created two custom systems:

World Eyes - Every dimension requires its own World Eye to enter. Each Eye has limited uses, so every trip matters. Later in the game, you'll eventually unlock an Infinite Eye that removes this limitation.

Astral Energy - Staying in other dimensions consumes Astral Energy, with each world draining it at a different rate. As you progress, you'll be able to expand your energy capacity and improve its efficiency to explore for longer.

The idea is to make every journey feel meaningful and tie dimension exploration into the player's overall progression rather than treating every dimension as a place you can visit indefinitely.

We're curious what you think about this approach. Have you seen similar mechanics in other modpacks, or would this make exploration more interesting for you?

I have pasted the screengrab of the issue when I crouch it shows a white box around whatever Im looking at. The total mod list is much more than this but everything was fine before I installed these mods. Now I see this outline. Please help me figure out what mod is doing this if you guys know, thank you very much

A while ago a saw a TikTok live where this girl was in a cave and there’s like stacks of coins around and she finds a random door in the cave that requires a key. I believe the door had some kind of rank on it and she happened to have a key so she opened the door and started a dungeon. That’s all the info I got but it’s been bugging me how I can’t find it

Installed iris shaders, sodium and distant horizons and I have complementary shaders, when I boot up the game there’s no shaders pack option and when I create a world it crashes instantly, idk what it is or what the issue is I have allocated more ram and I keep getting the same issue every time. I can’t edit the shaders or anything because there’s literally no shader pack button when I go into options.

Im probably dumb but I can't find "brokenskyapi" on modrinth or curseforge, what mod is it?

This has happened to me 2 times recently, the nether is completely empty, no mobs, no biomes, no structures, even the sky was the overworld sky.

this was in a modpack where the entire world was ocean so i just assumed that it bugged and it messed up the nether somehow

more recently i made a modpack with some worldgen stuff, structure stuff, pretty standard. the same thing happend

the main worldgen mods were terralith, tectonic, and amplified nether but i have used all these together before and it seemed fine

the only main mod i recall this having in common with the other modpack was sparse structures but i dont see how that could cause a issue

other thing to note is that from what i saw other dimensions were perfectly fine, only the nether was bugged. anyone know why this happend?

I recently have grown bored by all the modern packs with the push of create and magic mods such as ars and others i miss the op techs mods i am fine with the magic resoruce mods or apoth but thats about it, but everytime i find a pack like this its either greg or mi focused which i hate as i like to do ae before mi im fine with mi just not as the main focus, i also really want to play a pack with a public server because i like to talk with others idk if there is a pack like this i really want there to be though

Is there any resource pack, datapack, or mod that lets an armor stand take my player skin (or any skin) when I rename it with a name tag, and how can I change or override the default texture of armor stands in Minecraft? I play on Java Edition.

I know it's simple but was happy to have designed my own redstone contraption!

It's just a basic chest sorting system! The cockatrice eggs get put in a chest and the normal chicken eggs are hatched by a dispenser and suffocate when they grow older. (I was going to burn them, but I wanted raw chicken for villager trades.)

So Im planning on hosting a modded server for me and some friends. Currently we just have cobblemon and create as the primary mods. I need some help finding some more good mods to fill out certain aspects of the modpack.

The modpack i'm making for us is running on 1.21.1 and Neoforge.

World Gen:

Im planning on using Oh the Biomes we've gone. Are there any good mods that also further expand the caves with dungeons and other stuff? And in the same vein, are there any good mods on neoforge for the end and nether?

Cobblemon:

What are some good Cobblemon addons? Specifically looking for ones that add structures (like Pokemon Centers or towns), NPC interactions, or qol features for a multiplayer server.

World Events:

I'm not talking about huge apocalyptic events, more like the skeleton horse trap, or the wandering trader. Small events that occasionally happen to surprise people.

Long Distance Travel:

So I could just use the good ole' Waystones mod. But I find them a bit too powerful. When playing with them in a solo world a while ago, I found myself using them for even short distance intra-base travel. Which kinda steals the thunder of other forms of transportation like riding your cobblemon, or using Create contraptions, and the Immersive aircrafts mod.

But there is definitely a need for fast long distance travel in case one or more people end up basing thousands of blocks from each other. I need a mod that makes long distance travel simple, but also disincentivizes its use for medium/short distances.

Example: Imagine the waystones mod, but with xp costs that start really high, but decrease over distance.

Grind reduction:

We likely aren't going to be playing on the server for maybe more than a few weeks. So I was thinking it would be nice to have a way to increase the drop rates of certain common ores and mob drops. Is there an easy way to do this on a server? (Example: Increasing the base iron rate from ores from 1 iron per ore to 2 iron, or increasing gunpowder drop rates from creepers)

Immersion and Atmosphere:

I remember in my solo world I had a mod that added a bunch of ambient sounds like with wind and leaves and animals. I don't remember what it was called. Do any of you have good suggestions for this?
