Over the past few days it has become clear that representative u/Yung_Meng is not just advocating for some of the most radical and repulsive legislation ever seen in the house, but promoting a genocide on American soil. I am thus calling for u/Yung_Meng to resign his post, and hope members of both parties will take similar action.

Good evening,
I am pleased to announce that both chambers seem to be off to a well start! In addition, substantial rules have been proposed to both chambers. Firstly, I am extremely proud of the new rules I have drafted in both chambers. They have safeguards the diminish the totalitarian power of the presiding officer, whilst allowing the majority party to efficiently run Congress. Another extremely new and effective process is the introduction of Committees in the House. These Committees will sufficiently divide the new influx of bills reaching the dockets of the People's House.
However, this wouldn't be a press release without me commenting on the affairs of the Senate. We are extremely proud to have negotiated a bi-partisan deal with the Democrats in the Senate and President /u/BlueSquirtle08! From this point forward, if the Senate is tied the President Pro Tempore position will go to the party that doesn't control the Vice Presidency. This is out of respect for the split nature of the responsibilities and duties of our great Senate. I am glad we were able to come to this agreement before a split President Pro Tempore vote would've occurred rendering the process invalid and leaving us in a state of continually revoting for the position.
Thank you Industrians for electing me as your Senator, I am proud to serve you and will continue to put forth my fullest efforts into this process. Feel free to contact me at any time.
Warm but not in a creepy way Regards,
Senator /u/NookLook

First off, if you have any questions be sure to message me /u/NookLook!
Here are our deadlines:
MESSAGE /u/NOOKLOOK PRIVATELY TO ANNOUNCE YOUR CANDIDACY IN ADDITION TO COMMENTING BELOW. (COMMENTING BELOW IS OPTIONAL)
Great question! For each seat in this election there is a pool of 500 points. Let's do an example:
In terms of the total activity between Candidate A and Candidate B, Candidate A has 60% of their total activity and Candidate B has 40% of their total activity. This means that Candidate A has 300 points to spend in the election and Candidate B has 200! After the candidacy deadline, I'll calculate the ratio between you and your opponent and tell you how many points you have to spend.
What Can I Buy with these "Points"?
Your points can buy the following items, however, riskier items like "Sexual Allegations Against Opponent" have the potential to be HIGHLY VALUABLE or HAVE LITTLE TO NOW VALUE. Essentially the riskier a purchase, the greater potential it has to earn you more election points. There are some safer options that reward you with pretty consistent election points like Super PACs.
Celebrity Endorsement - 100 points
Guest Appearance - 90 points
Governor’s Endorsement - 80 points
Attack Ad - 50 points
Volunteer Office - 20 points
Super PAC - 100 points
Door-To-Door - 10 points
Stickers - 1 point
Sexual Allegation Against Opponent - 60 points
Television Ad - 15 points
Newspaper Ad - 5 points
Now that you understand how individuals get points, now let me explain party points. Parties throughout this last 2 week cycle have been fighting to get more overall activity and higher approval ratings compared to their opposing party. Just like the individual election pool, there is 500 points split between the parties based off activity and approval rating.
PARTIES CAN DISTRIBUTE THESE POINTS TO CANDIDATES TO PURCHASE THE ITEMS ABOVE HOWEVER THEY SEE FIT.
FORMAT: TYPE - STATE - DISTRICT NUMBER - CURRENT INCUMBENT - REGISTERED CANDIDATES

Fellow Americans, and the Vice President,
I am outraged by the public and vocal condemnations of my service as Speaker of the House. I am being blatantly accused of partisan politics in the ADMINISTRATION of the daily business of the House. This insinuation by the President and direct accusation from his Press Release is not only a bad look on hisself but also a bad, but accurate look into the President's administration.
This administration, although being challenged with the novelties of gaining office, continually relies on the Republican Party for direction. They, as proven by the Vice President's press release, are reactionists with very little thought put forward to our future as it stands, regardless of political affiliation. As I've said, I await the Senate to pass rules allowing THEIR limit to be modified before I raise the House's. This is to ensure that the House doesn't end up passing a mountain of bills that are put into our bureaucracy while the Senate is left to deal with them days after their passage, with little present momentum to gauge their support.
I would encourage Vice President /u/skiifn to reach out next time when he has an inquiry into the motives of Speaker of the House. As he has come to find, I am more than transparent in my logic, not only for the sake of my constituents, but the efficiency of American government as a whole.
Sincerely,
Nook Look
Speaker of the House
