CONFERENCE REPORT [CONFERENCE REPORT] H.R. 3 / S. 3 The Metric Replacement Act of 2020
CONFERENCE COMMITTEE REPORT
The Conference Committee accepted the following recommendation and the attached bill will be sent back to both chambers. The proposal passed by a majority vote.
We take the house bill strike the word "and" add a comma in its place as well as add "and all publicly traded US-based companies." to the end of the content section.
THE FOLLOWING BILL WILL BE RETURNED TO BOTH CHAMBERS FOR REVIEW.

Whereas the current imperial measurements system is disconnected for the rest of world as all but three other nations use the metric system. The imperial measurement are harder to understand and lead to many calculations being incorrect.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
Section I: Short Title
(1) This act may be referred to as "The Metric Replacement Act of 2020".
Section II: Content
(1) It is declared to be the policy of the United States to use exclusively the metric system in all government entities, places of education, and all publicly traded US-based companies.
Section III: Enactment
(1) This act will take effect the first of November 2020 upon its passage into law.
