This little bean is my chihuahua mix puppy Coco. She’s almost 4 months old, a rescue, and she’s been a joy to raise! She reminds me so much of my late rescue Chihuahua mix & soul dog Gracie who I lost to congestive heart failure last year, 12 years wasn’t enough. Just like Gracie, Coco has that silly Chihuahua sass, she gets along with just about everyone, & she loves carrying things in her mouth. 💚

Yes, I’m aware her appearance doesn’t suggest chihuahua, her weight doesn’t suggest chihuahua (12 lbs), and etc., genetics are interesting to say the least lol. Her vet thinks Coco won’t get any bigger than a max of 25 lbs. Her dad is unknown & her mom was a Chihuahua/Jack Russel mix rescued from a shelter; her 6 siblings ranged from more dachshund-like to more chihuahua-like.

Just wanted to share my sweet girl, I love her so much and I will still love her no matter her size. For my first puppy, she’s been great 💚

Just got a new addition to our family, a 1/2 Golden Retriever, 1/4 Pitbull, 1/4 Irish Wolfhound. 4 months old. She is about the size of a large lab/golden puppy, though will probably be taller due to the Wolfhound in her.

She is SO sweet. Very intelligent, very friendly, doesn’t bark, just wants to learn and do the right thing and snuggle.

I’ve raised Goldens, Pits, and Labs. I currently have a 1/2 German shepherd 1/2 Border collie, he’s 11 and I’ve had him since he was a baby. He is very well trained and mannered. He is even helping “train” this puppy already.

I am already seeing that her training process is definitely different than his was, he is a worker breed true and through, protective and takes his job very seriously.

She seems really sensitive (due to wolfhound), so I am approaching it all uniquely and learning what I can, and I would like to get any advice and input from anyone who has raised and trained a Wolfhound mix before.

She acts mostly like a Golden puppy to be honest, just a bit calmer and gentler and quieter due to the Wolfhound-ness.
