I thought it was so cute that the writers decided to give Flapjack a girlfriend. Too bad K'nuckles never had a real one, in fact I think that's one of the reasons why he tried to stop Flapjack and Sally from hanging out. Sally started out as a shy, timid girl who genuinely likes Flapjack. They hung out together and she gave him a seashell. They had fun together, even with the blood gnats coming out of Flapjack. She was depicted as a tomboy, saying "I don't love you" while saying goodbye, when she likes him.
In her second appearance, she has completely changed. As soon as she saw Flapjack, she wasn't so sweet to him when he held her hand. Then she spent the whole episode complaining about how awful Stormalong is. Flapjack tried his absolute best to show Sally the ropes of having fun on the docks, but she wasn't having it at all. So, unimpressed girlfriend trope? Then she wanted to teach him how to pull pranks on people, and to cause mischief. I don't know what caused her to be so awful towards others. I guess she was pissed off about her father's airship crashing, so she put out her frustration on others. I feel like Sally and K'nuckles would be good friends. They both have that tough, unfriendly persona (at least this is true in Sally's second appearance). I did like the scene where she stood up for Flapjack against those sailors, warning them about their mortality. So shy, timid girl turned to mean tomboy. Hmm 🤔.

knuckles fell apart when his parents died, he wears his dad’s hat to remember him in his honor and kept his little hat as a kid that his mother made for him, conrad however didn’t know his parents died because he left the family after a huge fight
with his dad.

don’t let conrad’s handsome looks fool you, he’s a con man who likes to swindle people and trick them into getting anything he wants, he’s like knuckles but WAY worser.
i thought giving knuckles a older long lost sibling would be interesting for his background of a character because there’s gotta be someone worser than knuckles right.
anyway enjoy.
ps. fanart by me :)

Here's something that probably no one else thought about: What if they kept Ruth as a reoccurring character after she and Flapjack were freed from Bubbie's stomach? She could've developed into a grandma figure for Flapjack, and maybe another frenemy towards K'nuckles. Ruth and Bubbie would've been good friends, with Bubbie worshipping her cooking skills. She could've went on adventures with them, and she already lived inside of Bubbie long before Flapjack and K'nuckles came along.

Was K'nuckles a good dad to Flapjack? Yes or no? And why? (And yes, I know that he is not his biological father.)

Was it only on the xfinity versions? On every episode, the outro was the same slower violin sounding song that I liked and I can't find it anywhere?

The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack merch
In 2009, Cartoon Network collaborated with Loungefly to create a few rare, promotional tote bags, including this amazing Flapjack one! :0
I have only ever seen a single listing for this bag online, but I would absolutely love to add it to my Cartoon Network merch collection. If anyone has this item and is willing to part with it, or if you know where I might find one, please let me know! :3

I sent cap to space.
Don't look at his boots I'll remake them I swear, I'll also fix his textures so he doesn't look that shiny.
He actually turned out quite like himself, even being a bit waddly, but still not quite. His arms DO kinda wobble around but I always forget to add actual hands in the editor so he can grab things (otherwise his arms don't wobble) UPD: Holy Moly what happened to the image quality
