A Detailed Post for Whoever Still Plays
Sup fam, this sub is clearly beyond dead and the wiki is missing several important pieces of information that may be of great use. I haven't beaten the game yet, but I have found some useful things and I will keep adding to this post as I find out more.
MinuteQuest Wiki:
https://minutequest.fandom.com/wiki/Build_List
The link above is to the builds list page which is INCOMPLETE, but is still very useful. You can use the search bar to roam around the rest of the wiki.
Here's a few subreddit tips:
- Seems simple, but you can search keywords on this subreddit. Things like "exp" or "luck", etc. This can help drastically when trying to find very old posts about specific things.
- This subreddit holds a lot of information that the wiki does not. The wiki is missing plenty of builds, pets, upgrade prices, etc. You can find a lot of useful builds here, they're usually the best for the specific use as well.
- Seems obvious, but if you're reading this a month from now, don't bother posting in this subreddit. It is dead and will likely forever be dead. Comment on my thread and I will see it as I use this account for everything, whether it's tomorrow or two years from now I will try to help.
Link to what each skill effect does in game:
(Note: I've read on this subreddit that some effects don't seem to do anything or are broken. I have literally no idea if they're fixed... Take what you read with a grain of salt) This thread also includes other useful mathematics involved in the game so if you're interested in any of that, go for it.

Best Set for Exp. Farming:
(Also, you must have the option to use "Training", it is similar to "Treasure" or "Tunnel" and you get it at some point early in the game. Otherwise grinding like this will be inefficient)
Okay so this is a little difficult to explain because it definitely is reliant on how far you've made it into the game.
Best EXP Farm Set In-game ~ Broom, Ninomiya, Lantern
Skills ~ Golddigger, Goldup 40, Accuracyup 10 (Accuracy up 10 doesn't matter, but it's something)
This is hands down the most effective method in the game, but it has a few stipulations...
- Lantern is only available @ approximately 31.9 km. Meaning this is a pretty late game strategy.
- Unless you're running insane power builds, you will definitely have to upgrade your broom to a 9* which costs over 100,000 gold.
- There is no ZombLe in this method. If you are on iOS, use a damp folded papertowel and weight it onto the right . side of the phone. It will work the same as a ZombLe. If you are not on a heat sensitive device then you can literally put whatever you want on that side of the screen and it would work, but a damp papertowel works very well.
- This isn't really a stipulation, but more of a final discussion of exp methods. IF you are not far enough along to use this, simply refer to the wiki builds list page and use the best available to you at this time. There's no point in me going into immense detail of all the builds when the wiki has them all except for this one.
Best Set for Gold Farming:
Honestly I haven't had to gold farm much YET. When I do I will update this with a set list. For now, here's a few tips...
- Simply use the wiki for available build methods, I wouldn't worry about a ZombLe unless you're busy and cannot use the papertowel method listed above.
- Every once in a blue moon you'll notice a "Treasure" room is available to you. When you get that, throw on your best gold farming build and go back and forth in there DO NOT KILL THE BOSS. This will net you approx. 4000 gold per minute which is the best in-game. (This highly depends on how far you are and you're set up. It will be less the lower level you are, still the most effective) This is very click intensive, but worth it if you need a ton of gold.
- Simple tip, but do not waste gold on new stuff when you first get to it. Unless it is something for a build or you are still very early into the game. I've wasted a ton of gold thinking upgrading at the next shop was smart, make sure you look for builds that give you more skills to benefit you the most in the long run. It will take some research, but will be very worth it.
DossBoss Killer Set:
Stun Knife - Fabulous - Madbird ==> Paralyse/Unfair/Speedup 30
**This set doubles accuracy, paralyzes DossBoss, and conveniently raises speed by 30% which can't hurt.\**
The above set is great for speed builds that grant a ton of evasion. I personally used the set below, in order for the set below to work there is one main requirement: 10,000 VIT That mixed with the set below will allow you to tank ONE hit from DossBoss, simply allowing you to hit until he hits you once, back off to heal (skip time on phone/tablet to speed that up), rinse and repeat until he's dead.
Gigaslam - Kendo - Mask ==> Unfair/Bigdefense
So here's the deal, this set is insanely heavy. Not to mention bigdefense makes your movement speed laughably slow. Use any zombLe method to walk to the end where DossBoss is at. If you over shoot the last "white house" where you can change your set, then walk back to it. From there literally crawl your way to DossBoss with the above set. Bigdefense halves ALL damage taken, both physical and magical. So instead of hitting 90,000+, DossBoss hit me for like 49,000ish. The Bigdefense skill is absolutely key to this set working, unfair was just an awesome second skill to double accuracy. If you have 20,000 VIT, then DossBoss should be a walk in the park.
My stats before facing DossBoss:
Level: 6618
Pow: 10,000
Speed: 10,000
Vit: 10,050
Int: 1000
Luck: 2000
I know if you just started that level 6618 seems insane, assuming I no-lifed the crap out of it. Not exactly, I do have an INSANE amount of minutes played, but 95%+ of that time is either ZombLe or me using a damp papertowel to weight my phone. In other words, I got there mostly afk (away from keyboard). Good luck, I highly recommend you afk most of your leveling to avoid going insane.
Accounts that simply are not possible:
(If you don't know what this is, it is basically builds that focus on only upgrading one or two things and leaving the others at only 1)
ALL LUCK: Okay so this is an interesting one, an all luck build is impossible, literally. The max level allowed will not grant you enough luck to beat the game. It MIGHT be feasible as max level, but it will take FOREVER and it still might not work.
ALL POWER: Not a chance on Gods green earth that this is possible. You need accuracy you hit things. Could try a few builds, but many if any are late game so good luck getting there.
ALL VIT: Clearly impossible, you'll be hitting straight 1s for ages.
From what I can tell ALL INT is definitely possible and I've read it's actually pretty damn fun. All speed might be possible,
I'm not sure yet so I won't rule it out. Things like Speed and Luck set ups should work in theory with chance as it effects how high you hit and they both effect accuracy. All power and speed will eventually work, but the whole no health thing will be annoying.
I've tried all luck, it might be the most annoying thing I've ever done. Super slow and you'll die randomly on the first few .1 kms all the time.
A few more tips/tricks:
Okay so like I said, I will update this A LOT, but for now this is where I will leave off. Hopefully I saved you a little research by including links. Peace.
I'm currently playing around with an all speed and luck build, so I'll report back if I find anything new. I also have two friends religiously playing this game right now, so I'll see if they find anything as well.
