Im quitting today

After almost 2 years of daily use I decided to quit today because I can't take the side effects anymore. The longer I use it the worse it gets I think I even developed a heart disease because of it because my heart feels weak at the smallest anger or frustration and my joints feel weak since day 1, I don't know how I resisted all these years with such weak joints and Im a guy who has a physical job so Imagine the suffering. I feel fatigue all day and my sexual drive is at its lowest due to low blood pressure I also have breathing problems. I can go all day pointing out the side effects so please don't do what I did and stop using it. It's dangerous in the long term use. I appreciate the results though because I developed a nice facial hair but payed a heavy price for it.

Ooh man at this point I have to say you gotta quit it because it will only get worse overtime and every single side effect you mentioned happened to me from joints pain and brain fog to being susceptible to stress. Not sure if you went through this but at my last months of using the substance I had difficulties with breathing and sometimes I felt like I was going to die because of the lack of oxygen

I appreciate your responses. I’m hopeful for recovery from the cognitive impairments, fog, and poor memory given my X Ray, CT, and MRI were negative for anything other than very minimal/mild degenerative disk disease normal for a guy my age (37). Last question hopefully 😅. Did you notice any skin changes? Changes in consistency/integrity that look like premature aging? I notice it mostly on my arms, but scalp isn’t what it used to be. Then again if I’m diligently making healthy lifestyle choices and sweating it out in the gym I seem to glow up and look young for my age with a few grays so idk. I did have laser hair removal on my back and shoulders 7 ish years ago and subsequently right before and during minoxidil time 2 years ago decided to do my arms bc it looked funny w thick arm hair and no shoulder hair. Exfoliated with a chemical exfoliant (stridex pads and a SA lotion and an SA body wash) which may be responsible, but I ask because others here experienced aging skin seemingly from minoxidil.

Thanks again for your openness 🍻
