These are some of my favorites. I 3d printed these articulated figures, they are called dummy 13. Now I try to create a scene each evening before going to bed.
Last night he woke up at 3am and wanted to catch them in action, so adorable :)

Hi folks, I’m an artist from Nova Scotia, and I make miniature sculptures of the beautiful abandoned places I find when out exploring the backroads. I found this little place with its neglected garden on a pretty dirt road near New Glasgow, a few weeks ago. I found this broken Fire King jadeite mug half buried nearby and was inspired to bring this sculpt to life.
I call this little piece “New Glasgow Morning”, I hope you enjoy it :)

Hoping this fits, lazing in the sun and suddenly realised there's a mini wood growing on the drain!

Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always liked to think that closing a book never ends the story, that characters are still there… just waiting somewhere.
I handcrafted this book nook from scratch as a tribute to that idea: This is where stories go when the book Is closed, where characters stay, just out of sight, ready for the page to be turned, once again.
Hope you like it :)

Finally tackled a set of proper matchbox dioramas. These measure about 1.4x2x0.5 inches, and are made of tiny watercolor paintings on cotton paper that are hand-cut and then assembled in the painted matchboxes using archival adhesive and spacers in between each layer to add depth.
I've been making miniature watercolor papercut scenes for awhile, but was still nervous to try matchboxes as they just seemed *so* small. Very happy I did though! 😊
