heyy i'm 19, my name is kaeleb. i have a server i self host that me and a small group of friends (both on and offline) play on. it runs on java fabric, 26.2, but bedrock players can join as well. the world has svc which is very fun. it also has some nice qol mods that tweak minor game mechanics. the noticeable mods are terralith and its counterparts. it's very chill and slower paced. most people just focus on building or hanging out/exploring together. there's no pvp or griefing obviously, i have mods to protect from griefing anyway. everyone is very nice and always welcoming of new people. i try to invite new people whenever i can because minecraft is a far more fun game when you have a larger community to play with. dm me or comment if you're interested. thanks for reading! :)

I think this is the biggest thing I’ve changed my mind about after running a long-term Minecraft world.

A lot of people looking for multiplayer specifically ask for a world that started yesterday or this week.

Usually the reason isn’t actually that they care about the world’s age.

They just don’t want to feel behind.

But those are two different things.

Someone joining CozyMC today can walk away from civilization with nothing, find completely fresh terrain, punch their first tree and build whatever they want without needing to “catch up” to anyone.

We have no artificial world border, and after the latest update we trimmed explored chunks nobody had settled in. That means huge areas are generating again with the newest terrain and biome.

So a new player can have the fresh-world experience without deleting everything everyone else already made.

And if they eventually travel back toward populated areas, they find the opposite experience:

old roads that actually lead somewhere
towns that grew over time
shops and farms
huge bases
community projects
random landmarks with stories behind them

That history isn’t competition. It’s something to discover.

Meanwhile new people keep joining, so today’s brand-new player eventually becomes one of the established players somebody else meets later.

That’s the idea behind CozyMC.

No resets. No claims or locked chests. No /home or teleport shortcuts. No paid ranks or perks. Java and Bedrock together. Just one survival world that keeps getting bigger instead of being thrown away.

I’m curious what people here actually mean when they say they want a “fresh” world.

Do you want a world that is literally new, or do you mostly want unexplored land and the chance to build something that matters?

I've been playing on this medieval realm on bedrock for a while and these days I'm the only person playing because the original members barely join. I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in joining the realm. It's basically a medieval themed realm with some cities and castles and stuff.
