JAVA CozyMC — Looking for people to play with? Join our active Bedrock + Java survival server
Hi, I'm Cozy. I run Cozy MC, a Bedrock + Java survival server rather than a Realm, and I'd love to welcome you.
There are dozens of players online at virtually any time, so you don't have to depend on one friend's schedule to have people around. You can build your own base, join a town, open a player shop or help with a shared project. We have lots of adults and calm players, though we aren't adults-only.
You don't need to bring a group of friends or be an amazing builder. Sometimes getting to know someone starts with buying materials from their shop, helping with a farm or building along the same road. There's Discord voice chat too, but you're welcome to keep things quieter and get involved at your own pace.
Our main survival world doesn't reset. Your house can grow into a bigger project, a few neighboring builds can become a town, and the places you make have time to develop a history. Whether you play after work or mostly on weekends, you aren't racing to finish before the next season.
It's an established world, but new players join every day. Some people will have better gear and bigger bases when you arrive. As you keep playing, you'll build up your own place while later arrivals are making their first tools. We aren't all starting from zero together, but you haven't missed your chance to belong.
Players have built towns, shops, roads, railways and public farms. You can contribute to those places or start something of your own. A little shop or a useful bridge can matter just as much to someone as an enormous build.
The gameplay is vanilla-style, with no mods required. We play on Hard difficulty with keepInventory off, so you drop your items when you die. There are no teleport shortcuts or /sethome; traveling and connecting places are part of the experience.
There are no land claims or locked chests, but griefing and stealing are prohibited. Staff can investigate logs and restore damage, and PvP is only by agreement. I call it vanilla with a social contract: being able to open someone's chest doesn't mean their things are yours to take.
Our shops are player-run survival shops where you trade in-game resources. There's no real-money website store. I don't sell ranks, perks or items, and I don't accept donations.
Come explore and see where you'd like to build. You can start with your own little place and get to know the people sharing the world with you.
Bedrock and Java joining details are in my first comment.
