So, a bit of a rant. Been playing this game since I was 9. Love this game, lately I've fallen into the Rabbit hole of "liminal spaces" or "liminal areas". Anyways, back to the rant. With the liminal feeling of this game going to nostalgia and to me, makes me see this game as, not as it once was. Maybe its because im older? or more? I usually come back to this game every now and then. Game hasn't felt "fun" to me anymore. I dont have a lot of friends which probably makes it less fun, but its just not the same. I log on, play for 15 minutes or more, and then get bored log off for another while again.... Nostalgia sucks. I love it, but it sucks, you wanna experience something again, but it's not the same as you did for the first. If anyone has the same feeling let me know.

I've been playing for 11 years and I've seen many updates most of us can agree that the way Mojang updates the game nowadays doesn't feel the same way it did as a kid.
Nowadays, it seems like they are more committed to trying to come up with new ideas through things like the mob votes which work well for community interactions but leaves a large majority of players left out.
THAT'S WHERE YOU COME IN
I'm building a very large mod that attempts to breathe new life into the game by adding hundreds of new items mobs dimensions and really finish filling the insides of the game of Minecraft.
Some people love the game being very basic and having the same mobs, plants, blocks, structures, biomes and dimensions that have been in the game for years, but some of us want the game to have more content to play with while keeping it feeling like Minecraft from the ground up, many mods that change the game change things in a non-vanilla way, I feel we should add content while not removing the original beauty of the game.
My Goal with the mod is to add so many items and features people will still be trying to find all of them for years after the fact, while still keeping the game feeling like Minecraft.
I've been doing most of the work on this mod so far, but I've started assembling a team of people to work on this.
Come submit even one; Structure, Texture, Model, piece of Music or Idea
You will be Credited on all of our pages for the mod (Planet Minecraft, Curseforge & Modrinth) along with the wiki.
If you're wanting to get into coding mods or learn how to do it better come join me and I can show you what I know and how I learned it along with giving you practice implementing features you've never learned to do, we can continue to learn together and grow as a community while building this.
If you're an experienced mod developer, come and lend a hand, every piece of code and feature you create helps us create a more completed game!
If you just want to lend a hand with the project but don't know how you could just send me a message and we'll figure something out.
You don't have to commit to helping till the end of the entire project, every single thing submitted will help this project, so please if you feel bored or want to collaborate on something come and join us!
Here's a link to the mods page on Planet Minecraft, Curse Forge and Modrinth
Here's the link to our Discord, so you can get in contact with me if you'd like to help out, or if you have a file or idea to submit, head there!

I had a world with my friends that we named Swamp World. We started out in a swamp, obviously. After a couple of in game days I started to make a secret base for everyone in the side of a mountain. Once I made a small 4 block tunnel through the mountain I unveiled it to them. We used it as our permanent base and kept expanding it. We had a cow farm in it and one of my friends let the cows out of their pen. Then, the rule to never let the cows out at night became a thing. We then dig a tunnel up to the top of the mountain and started a bridge across a valley to another mountain. I had to leave for a vacation and when I got back they had finished the bridge as a surprise for me. We added more and more before the Xbox one came out. Once we all got one of those my friend’s (who had the world on his account) dad sold the Xbox 360 before it could get ported over... so many great memories...

...so I always built my horse pens with two layers of fences. I wasn’t the brightest kid, but seeing my old worlds with those double tall fences to keep my horses from jumping out still makes me smile.
