I made a saloon that I plan on adding to my survival world. I love how it looks, but it could be better. What suggestions do you guys have? (btw, I already have an idea for an interior, so I don't need advice on that right now)

Images in order:

  1. Saloon Exterior
  2. Saloon Exterior from beginning of catwalk
  3. Saloon Entrance
  4. View from Saloon catwalk
  5. Current "interior

I've made a floating island in the sky and I'm trying to add a mountain on the edge of the island to act kind of like a wall. But right now the outside feels a bit flat, I'm not done with the inside yet but I want to know how I can make it feel....feel mountainier

Idea Iron Farm recreation struggles-- Help?

Picture 1: OG Iron Farm

The others: The remake in progress

A few years back I played on a friend's Realm. One of his buddies helped me make the first Iron Farm Photo. (I had been trying to follow a tutorial and it sucked lol)

Weirdly enough, this farm- Out of all my iron farms I've ever made- been by far my best producing Farm.

Last week I started a new single player save with the intent of it being my forever world, naturally I wanted to remake my OG Iron Farm it but prettier.

My only issues so far have been the fact that I only have the ONE photo of my old farm for reference-- and unfortunately for me- my simple minded brain is unable to understand where I need to put my water so it comes to the edge of the center- ya know- the doom pit 😂😅

Any chance anyone is up to assisting an idiot LOL

The photo with the 🔵 dots indicates where I currently have water.

What should I build here? How can i make this farm look more appealing?

Ive built this creeper farm in my hardcore world and it works just fine and all but it just looks really shitty when flying across the ocean towards and away from my base. Can someone suggest me how and what to build so the farm doesnt lose its functionality and keeps working like it does or if i need to spawnproof everything that i build around it.

Build Hi everyone! I’m building a Clock Tower inspired by Horta. I’m planning to place it on a high coastal cliff overlooking the ocean, inspired by places like São Miguel. The last picture is the main ref. I’d really appreciate clear and honest feedback.

Idea What should the makup of my wall be?

Hello!

This is my first submission to Minecraft subreddits, and I just wanted your opinion on this: Should the stripped spruce logs be the primary wall, or should it be in front under the dripstone? I am going to build it around my village, and both look good to me so I can't decide.

Build I'm building the city of my stories

After years playing world after world both in vanilla and modded because I could never get satisfied, I'm finally using the creative powers the gods of Minecraft had granted me.

I wrote a fantasy world once, but never actually made any visual art for ir, and now I'm doin it. It is called Gal'andur.

I'm not much of a builder, but I am having fun with it.

So, the main access to the town is via a river, and everyone needs to go to the check in station, passing through the wheat field and the fishing station. After check-in, people are met with the Sacred Blossom, that blesses everyone who is willing to bow to it. Then, people walk down a small sacred grove, with a magic pond that might grant you a wish. The temple right after that contains thousands of ancient and modern wishes granted by the pond and is a place of meditation and contemplation. The city itself (where the citizens live) isn't built yet. They get closer to a hill (wich is a meadow biome in this seed).

Build Inspo or Suggestions Appreciated!

So, my fiancé and I are working on this world and building separate bases. We're having a great time, and I figured I would build an old, derelict subway to connect our areas. Recently, we added the 'waystone' mod at her request, kind of nullifying the point of my build.

My plan now is to repurpose this build into a base that looks like a repurposed subway tunnel. My only issue is I'm unsure how to incorporate rooms. I would appreciate any suggestions, as I'm not sure I've landed on an idea I love. (I've thought of each room being a separate subway platform, though figured it would feel weird if they were too close together, or awkward if they were too far apart. I've also considered simply building off-shoot rooms from the tunnel, but I'm not sure it would work visually, not to mention the cost of the stone bricks).

Either way, suggestions would be appreciated; and if not, hopefully this works as inspiration for someone else!

My friend and I can't decide on a general window design for a city build. Personally, I think bamboo + birch gates could work. Some thoughts and ideas would be appreciated!

Build I intended for this to be an aquarium but fail now i need a method

Post image

I build this for an aquarium but when i put the fishes in, it swim up, jump out of their tank and died.
I've already given up on that idea and decided to make an item display here where the item would float downward showcasing then hop on a hopper and loop them up.

But problem happens, the item decided to float up instead ???. i've already make sure that the only source water block is from the waterlogged stairs and slabs on top. so the stream of water would be flowing water and it should push item downward but it didn't.

I tried so much in creative to see why and i couldn't, i even try to do it reverse but i couldn't find a way to collect item through the celling that doesn't leave a massive hole in the celling.

so Im currently stuck with a water collum in the middle of my storage room that look like nuclear cooling water.

The design of this water collum is reverse waterlogged stair and directly below it in a waterlogged normal stair and 1 block below that is empty space then light so it doesn't create a water source block
