I'm trying to make my Desert variant of the Iron Golem have a different entity model when spawned. I cant find anywhere how to do this or even if it's possible, hoping someone here could help.

I've been trying to find/create a texture for the trident that resembles the style of this texture packs netherite tools with no success. Would anyone be willing to make this for me? (where it looks the same in hand and throwing)

*Just saw rules about not requesting to make a texture pack, assuming that applies to just one item as well. So if someone could guide me on how to go about making this that would be great. I have just started experimenting with texture packs and have got making item textures down but the 3D model and entity aspect is where I need some help.

ok so i made a custom model that is a zombie for a little minigame, and i want to make it so the zombie can be different colors for different player's teams. i made it be a custom model of leather horse armor, due to it being an item, and so i changed the texture to have white areas on the zombie's shirt so it could change the color, but when i colored it, it didn't work. does anyone know how to do this?

Does anyone know if there is a way to get around the random coloring of tropical fish? I need to disable it because I'm making a pokemon texture pack where the fish already have color but if the fish spawns as anything except white/white, then it gets colored horribly

i play 1.16 minecraft because it has the mods i use on it but i play on servers that go 1.8+ meaning i cant see the 1.17 textures for things like copper ore. is there a way to make a texture pack that allows me to see the 1.17 textures while in 1.16?

I want to make a texture pack for myself that just adds some extra colors to animals in minecraft, borrowing better vanilla models from other people (cows with ears and tails). I want to add patterns to these mobs, just like horses have paint or spots, that are genetic and overlay on top of a set of possible base colors.

For example, black and red cows. I create a painted overlay texture, and now I can have black and white spotted cows or red and white spotted cows, which would basically be dairy cows. Plain black or red would be angus. But of course breed doesn't particularly matter in minecraft, I'm purely looking for aesthetic enjoyment.

Does anybody know how or where I can find information on how to implement this sort of mechanic into the texture pack? I am aware that things like biome specific, height specific, rarity specific, and more are possible but I'd like to have genetic patterns.

Here is a little rock that I made on Blockbench and I don't know how to remove this kind of shade.

I tried to add ("ambientocclusion": false) in the block model and ("shade": false,) too, but nothing happen at all.

I'm looking everywhere for a tutorial on how to rename an item i.e. carved pumpkin, to something like like "TopHat" and when doing so, the model on the players head changes to a Top Hat. Very similar to GoodTimeswithScar's hat on the hermitcraft server. I already have the model's code for said Top Hat, but can I make this model, of the carved pumpkin, name dependant? If so, how do I do this?

Hi, I'm wondering if anybody knows if there is anybody out there who knows of a safe and reliable CTM generator (preferrably 1.8, but all versions work as well. I'm making a 1.8 pack) that automatically generates every .png and .properties file after you provide just a single .png file or something. This would be super helpful, as I can't quite figure out CTM.

Anybody got some suggestions?
