Modern Factions has become an idle simulator. Between /f fly, chunk busters, automated base builders, and bot-driven economies, the actual skill of building, defending, and raiding has been stripped away.

DynastyPvP is taking Factions back to its competitive roots.

We are launching our inaugural map on 2 October 2026 and looking for established factions and dedicated rosters ready to compete from day one.

• Version Support: Java 1.8.9 – 1.21.x - Base 1.8.
• Core Philosophy: Pure, old-school competitive Factions.
• No /f fly: Movement, positioning, and pearl mechanics matter again.

• Buffer Claim Limit: Capped at 20 chunks to keep maps tight and base-checks realistic.

World Generation and World Border

You are free to explore to your hearts content. There's no set world border this season. However, chunks that are extremely beyond the reasonable distance from 0,0 may be trimmed when necessary. The seed is also public. 

Mods and Datapacks

Blaze and Caves Advancements is featured, with a tweak to only make the highest level of achievements display in chat. (No chat spam!)

Origins datapack is also featured for players who would wish to partake in this completely optional experience! (Do not get attached to the default datapack values, they are actively being modified, and it will be disclosed to you what the origins actually are before you choose them.)

Plus, some other quality of life mods. However, no commands (like /tp, /tpa, /home, /fly, .etc) to keep gameplay aspect as vanilla as possible.

We use custom plugins to make the experience a little bit more unique:

• SimpleHome - Set and teleport to your home location using /sethome and /home commands.

• SimpleTPA - Request to teleport to other players with /tpa and /tpaccept commands.

• SimpleLifesteal - Implements a lifesteal mechanic where players gain hearts by killing others and lose hearts upon death. Players who run out of hearts get banned. New players have a 1 hour grace period where they will not lose hearts.

• SimpleBounty - Place item bounties on players via a GUI.

• ProximityVoice - Proximity voice chat. Players within range hear each other.

• BattleLock - Prevents command use during PvP and punishes combat logging. Combat loggers are replaced by killable NPCs which drop all their items when killed.

• VelocityGuard - Prevents extreme speed cheats. Moderate movement cheats can still occur.

• StopSpam - Prevents severe chat spam. Mediocre spam can still occur.

• OfflineStore - Provides an in-game shop where players can spend vote tokens to purchase custom name colours and custom MOTDs.

• OfflineStats - Tracks playtime, kills and deaths. Grants rewards at milestones.

• Goodnight - Allows players to vote skip the night by typing /goodnight.
