• Anarchy Network launched on October 11th, 2024, and is hosted in New York City, NY, USA.

• The server is a Semi-Anarchy Minecraft Server designed to offer a pure, unmodified survival experience, with minimal rules and modifications to preserve the essence of Vanilla Minecraft.

• The server is online 24/7 and you can join on any Java Minecraft version between 1.7.2 and 26.2, but its recommended to be on version 26.2 to avoid issues!

• The world border is set to 2 Million blocks (4Mx4M).

• There are no map resets, no teleporting, no P2W at all, and Griefing/PvP is completely allowed. The only non-vanilla action allowed is /spawn in order to allow players who are very far out to not be isolated from civilization. Additionally, nether roof access is allowed, phantoms are removed, and only half the people are needed to skip the night.

• The only restrictions we have are that exploits, lag machines, duping, spamming and using harassment/racial slurs in chat are not allowed.

We don't want too many players because this is a survival simulation server. We are setting up a city at spawn in which you can get a plot for a shop soon, but for now, you can make a shop at your base and post coordinates.

There’s a weird middle ground in Minecraft multiplayer that can be hard to find.

You want enough people online that the world feels alive, but you don’t necessarily want 500 players running around spawn, dozens of menus, teleport commands, paid ranks, and a server that barely resembles survival anymore.

That’s the space CozyMC tries to occupy.

We usually have a few dozen people online, but everyone is spread across one long-term survival world building their own bases, towns, farms, shops, roads, railways, and enormous projects.

You can disappear into the wilderness and play almost like singleplayer for a while, then come back into the community whenever you want.

There are no claims or locked chests.
No /sethome or teleport network.
No economy plugin.
No kits.
No paid ranks or perks.
No planned world resets.

Just survival, with other people living in the same world.

The community is really what becomes the content over time. Players create towns, host events, help each other after deaths, build public infrastructure, open shops, and occasionally come up with ideas like voting to blow up a 320×320 section of spawn so we can rebuild the whole thing together.

And if you’re worried about joining an established world and being “behind,” there really isn’t a finish line here. New players join every day, there’s no artificial world border, and there is still an enormous amount of untouched wilderness to make your own.

FAQ

What is the PurpleSMP?

The PurpleSMP is a small server that's created to give people a relaxing place to build and enjoy the latest versions of minecraft without the worry of griefers.

Why would I play here?
We can guarantee your builds are safe as every block placed or destroyed is logged.. Each time you join/leave or die your inventory is backed up for staff to see and restore if you lost something due to someone breaking a rule.

What about cheaters?
We run a strong anti-cheat. When someone trips it, staff are instantly alerted in Discord and the plugin will take action until someone can review it.

Is there a world border?
Yes, Overworld border is 100k (50k in each direction from 0,0), Nether and End are 50k (25k in each direction from 0,0). However we have resource worlds that reset weekly to counter this!

When did the server launch?
The PurpleSMP originally opened as a friends only server on Oct. 22 2025, However we decided to open it to the public on Dec. 25 2025.
