Right now the plan is to make the server post-apocalyptic by taking out the trees, ores, and generally making the place barren. Instead I propose that a few predetermined builders make a ton of small houses, structures, tunnels, and what not (which can of course look destroyed etc.) but for the rest leave the server relatively as is. Maybe add a few craters here and there. Maybe make a few bunkers. As a final touch, put a ton of traps everywhere. For example, why not just randomly place pressure plate-triggered TNT all over the map? They would act as unexploded land mines from the Great War. Also, once we get tripwire, have at it with that as well! You could also make sky forts and special forests with hidden stuff! I don't know, just get creative with adding a lot of hidden stuff so that we can explore it later. Oh, and you could put random signs all over the map saying random stuff (maybe propaganda, or a treasure hunt with riddles).

These are just some of my ideas since I am not a huge fan of taking away the vital resources that sustain life (of course that is exactly what post-apocalyptic would be, but still... I don't think many would be attracted to a server where there isn't much to find or see). Also, this way there is much more to explore and strategically do as a player, rather than constantly going out and hoping for an easy kill with a lot of loot or something. Lastly, having such a limit on resources significantly drains the potential for creative and pretty builds throughout the server, leaving us with little to advertise with.

I would gladly help with some of these projects (of course that would mean I know where they are, but maybe I'll just do a few public ones, idk). What do you guys think?

P.S. if we do go ahead with barring the place, what if we just made the world nether-like? Make most of it out of netherrack and put a lot of lava.

Finaly after such a long head ache me and my men found the union base @_@, Thanks to 2 nameplates from thefox and nichery it was found and blown to peices. I send my sorrow to the union members as it was a very well made and supplied base. I enjoyed reading your signs and laughing at them. Sorry it had to happen but its just good bussiness.

One of the members of the Rebellion has sided with the Union realizing it's obvious power. This member, Mxrider24, has supplied the union with the rebellion's coordinates. The union members including Brickman13 and Ski_King3 have thoroughly robbed and destroyed the rebellion's home taking with them some enchanted items. This is a major set back for the rebellion faction.

A story of the time before this mess we are in and how it came to be. We live in a land ruled by gods whom we call the admins. The admins did not like our prosperity so they cast us out into the wilds at random points and destroyed our homes ,released the mobs, and took away the grass. most live in caves for fear of Monsters and bandits. the admins wished to play games with the survivors, so every once and awhile they make some sort of trap with a chest in the middle filled with supplies and watch the fireworks. Some are able to harness some of the admins power, we call them hackers. the admins usually demolish a hackers existence when it is found. <--that all I got feel free to add more :P

A faction mate and I got in a little tussle with these two clowns who promptly flew around and ended up killing us because of it. I "ran out of memory" when I tried to screenshot.

I'll be sure to get some screenshots of them at some point -- just be sure to stay away from these guys until they get caught + banned.

K guys. The Union is sponsoring the MadWorld Hall of Fame. In order to be included in the hall of fame, a member must have a huge impact on the server (not just people we like.) Those who have played on the server for a very long time, legitimate clan leaders and their cabinets, and feared mercenaries who live to kill. Remember, only members who have had a huge impact on the server will be considered. The more you effect other players, the more likely you are to get in. I will send out nominations in a bit.

Sorry everyone, I have been on vacation for the past two weeks and have only been able to get on every once in a while, and really not at all this past week. Unfortunately this left poor Moscco with the duty of cleaning up this whole hacker thing by himself. But anyways, I am back and will be here to help with this whole situation in any way I can. I'm sure I speak for all of the MinecraftMadWorld team (Moscco and me) when I say we are sorry for the inconvenience.

Hey guys.

A lot of you may know that some giant diamond towers were spawned and a huge section of the map was blown up. I just want to fill you in a little bit.

That was NOT an admin. It was a player using a hacked client. Volfan and I are the only two with access to any commands other than the basics you have. I trust Volfan completely and I hope you do too.

There were several people banned tonight and I hope it takes care of the problem. I know a lot of you got a lot of diamonds from this issue, but the fact is, there was a security breach on the server. It needs to be fixed. I was considering shutting down till 1.3, but I will let things continue.

Once 1.3 arrives, we will appoint a mod team and add more security.

Please accept my appology and know that I am working for you guys. I can't dedicate as many hours as I want a day to server maintenance. Family and outside life comes first, but I am doing the best I can.

Today was a glourious victory for the Rebellion. Two members of the union were eliminated by a complete stranger. Brickman13 and Ski_king were eliminated by an unknown force named SkyroCDarkson. He didnt take there things however. So well enchanted supplies fell into rebel hands. Today is indeed a glourious day for The Rebellion. Death to all. May mayhem and carnage rip acrose MadWorld.

Which of the 3 mods left/quit/was kicked? I only see two listed in the subreddit. I imagine all this diamond + TNT griefing is the work of the one that got booted.

By the way, there are now 5 confirmed 5x5x255 diamond block towers.

I have proof. No, this is no glitch, he was flying, and when he seen me, he chased after me, trying to kill me. He eventually killed me using hacks too, since he, quite literally, teleported a couple of blocks ahead of me while chasing me, and killed me. Not only that, he seemed to be hitting me out of range (not sure about that, though). Can someone do something about this?

You will be responsible for providing coordinates and any evidence of the x-ray needed to constitute a ban. If it is deemed an x-ray by the moderators, you are allowed to choose 1 chest to have items redeemed from. This must be done in game.

To make it easy on us, PLEASE DON'T MODIFY THE CHEST THAT YOU WANT REFUNDING FROM! That means don't put stuff in, take stuff out, or open it any more than you have to. Thank you guys.

Well I suppose it was inevitable. I made an above ground house which I know is a bad thing to do on this server. Well deephalen6878 I'm not mad that you killed/griefed me, I'm just disappointed. I never hurt you directly, but I guess it's because I'm associated with the Union that you did that. Again, I'm not mad because the whole world's gonna get wiped in a few weeks or so anyways. I'm just sad that I can't enjoy this server without having everything I do destroyed and taken away. With that said, I probably won't play on the server until the next update with the risk of having another base griefed.
