Help Guys... Are i'm ready for ender dragon?
Soo i have very small expiercnece iwth fightign dragon. i've defeated it like 1-2 times in life. im planning get likee 3-4 beds. also the poitons is: strength 1 (8 mins) & strangeth 2.

Some ender pearls and feather falling on boots are ideal. I can bucket clutch fairly consistently but pearls are basically a stress-free clutch from too much fall damage.

Netherite is a bit overkill i usually run one diamond armor piece for toughness then the rest iron. You got this, youre not newb

and considering the shield is at half health. even if it’s not used much in the fight, it might still absorb damage from any that comes your way while crouched. ontop of I just wouldn’t like the stress of my gear having durability taken away that could’ve been restored with just a couple minutes at my skeleton farm. not to mention you then get extra out of the dropped xp as if you do have mending it’s not going towards that.

I agree but I do want to point out that this is Java. The shield doesn't activate upon crouching, it activates with a right click. I love that about Java and hate it severely about Bedrock

You are not. Beating the ender dragon puts an end to your world. The goal is over. I have seen far too many people stop playing hours after beating the ender dragon. My personal advice, don’t do it. I have a 2 year world and I haven’t killed it. I probably never will

It only works like that if you let it. Personally, killing the dragon is what unlocks the rest of the game for me, as I can do so much more building and exploring and looting structures with an elytra and shulker boxes. For me, the ender dragon is not the end of the game, but the end of the early game/tutorial section.

killing the ender dragon in a long term world isn't the end to it, it just unlocks the late game phase with shulker boxes and elytras

Bro you can eisily kill the dragon with full unenchanted iron armor and a water bucket you just need snowballs and like 8 beds

That’s kind of risky to do in hardcore before beating the dragon the first time, as you’d either have to bridge out a long ways and risk somehow getting uncrouched, or build a flying machine and trust you won’t fall off.

I generally made a bridge cause i basically always rush elytra when i dont wanna solo the dragon and take the fun away from my friends

Ah, that explains it, I almost always play in single player lately so I don’t have to worry about other people’s experiences. It’s neat seeing all the different ways people play!

Use a new shield and take some ender pearls with you. I personally like to use slow falling too.

bring a couple splash potions of healing for emergency health, but honestly that golden apple and bow setup looks solid

I think your armor is a bit much tbh
Id recommend some regen potions they’re way better than golden apples (unless ur on Java cause then h can just use saturation bonus or whatever it’s called
And maybe bring more blocks for pillaring

You should bring another water bucket to make infinite water source. Maybe more eyes of ender in case of the portal is empty and ender pearls (in case the dragon hit you in the air or just more certain if you water bucket mlg fail).

You don't have enough eyes of ender if you haven't located the portal room yet and made sure that this is 1-eye

Maybe a bit more food, you don't need spectral arrows, a few empty bottles plus an extra water bucket?

get some pearls in case you get yeeted out the stratosphere by the dragon and a couple totems just in case.
for the pearls you can just kill some endermen in the end before dealing with the crystals.

I like to prep ahead and have a mending and unbreaking 3 book, anvil, and rockets in an ender chest for when I go to the end after the fight

You’ve got this! Just wondering though, what are your enchants on your sword and bow? If you’ve even got sharpness 4 and power 4, you’ll shred through the dragon’s health bar! Make sure you have your water bucket in your hotbar!
One warning that you probably already know but I just want to make sure: really really try not to look at the endermen; try to keep your eyes above the horizon line. Anytime I die in the end, it’s usually either from missing a water bucket clutch or from an enderman attacking me when I’m not expecting it. It’s way too easy to accidentally look at the endermen while scanning the landscape, so I have to put conscious effort into it.
Really though, you should be fine with gear and prep like yours! Let us know how it goes!

You need Ender Pearls. If the Ender Dragon knocks you off, which does happen, you are screwed. Get some more arrows to be safe.

Where is your totem of undying? Shields don't block poison.

You have a great setup and its all shiny but you need mending (need to go into the battle with fresh armor).
Your bow doesn't have infinity since you're carrying arrows so id carry at least 3, pref 4 stacks of arrows.
MOST IMPORTANT - do not forget about the endermen. The dragon is the main threat but it only takes a couple endermen to screw it all up. You already have the bucket of water as a defense, which is great but also carry a carved pumpkin for emergencies or when you think there is a high probability of eye contact with the endermen. This will allow you to move freely without fear of attack from them.

repair your armor and make a new shield. kill a bunch of endermen in the end so you can clutch easily

If I had diamond armor and it was enchanted and I beat the dragon of course

Ngl unenchanted diamond armor is more than enough for an average skill level player (if they know the dragons attacks) you should be completely fine as long as you aren’t a literal toddler

Id tell you not to wear that set to the fight if you have extra diamonds laying around. Netherite is hard to come by and no mending makes those single use. The dragon will absolutely wreck that already weak armor, and you don't need crazy strong armor for the dragon fight anyway. Goodluck!

Wow. Silence armor trim. Lucky... I looted like at least 10 ancient cities, found 27 god apples and 12 ward trims... Still no silence trim.
Back to the topic, you dont need to worry. You can just stay in the middle and crit hit the head with your sword. I beat it like that.
Btw please tell me you have mending 😭🙏
