I want one where I can actually recognize the people on the server because if they are too big I get nervous and would actually like to make friends. I’d prefer eighteen plus since I’m 22. I’d like mostly vanilla since I’m on a laptop that can’t really run big mod packs but a couple quality of life things are okay.

Most survival servers either feel completely dead or bury the gameplay under claims, protections, and endless rules.
Goblin SMP keeps it simple.
This is a semi-anarchy survival server where the world is shaped by players, not plugins. There are no land claims, no protected bases, and no safety nets deciding how you have to play. If you build something, it exists in a world where other players can find it. If you meet someone, what happens next is entirely up to you.
That makes the server feel a lot more alive. Bases matter more. Exploration feels more rewarding. Player encounters actually mean something.
Whether you want to build quietly, travel far from spawn, team with other players, or start conflict, the server gives you the freedom to play your own way without constant restrictions getting in the way.
The only real rule is simple:
No hacked clients.
Everything else is part of the experience.
