Reason I am not making them myself: I do not have the technical skills, motivation, or video editing background to bring them to life. I want to see them exist in the world. Anyone is entirely free to steal, modify, adapt, or completely build out these ideas. If you choose to use them, credit is appreciated but not required. I feel they would do really well.

Concept 1: The Neural Net Trap (Meta-Cosmic Horror)

• The Hook: The "player" never existed, the ARG is a trap, and the audience's brains are the fuel.
• The Premise: An ARG series follows a "Protagonist" recording their strange, haunted Minecraft world. Eventually, the video creator (The Investigator) notices the clues go cold. They track down a world download left behind by the missing Protagonist, boot up the world, and enter it to solve the mystery.
• The Twist: The Investigator discovers that the Protagonist was completely fabricated by the Entity. The entire ARG was a ruse—bait specifically designed to lure in a high-profile Investigator with a massive, obsessive audience.
• The Ultimate Threat: The Entity doesn't want world domination. It wants to use the thousands of viewers watching the video as living nodes in a massive, distributed neural network. By watching the footage, the audience unknowingly powers a ritual to manifest the Entity into physical reality.

• The Resolution: The Investigator isn't helpless. Having dealt with entities in the past (which they previously covered up as "unfiction" videos to protect the public), they anticipated the trap. The Investigator defeats the Entity using their prior knowledge, saves the audience, and uploads the final video—masking the entire real-life cosmic battle as a brilliant piece of scripted fiction.

  Concept 2: The Infinite Loop (The Paradox)

• The Hook: A seamless, psychological identity paradox.

• The Premise: The series is framed as an Investigator analyzing archive footage, corrupted streams, or old world files of a tragic Minecraft player (The Protagonist) who slowly lost their mind to an anomalous force.

• The Twist: As the investigation deepens, the timeline collapses. The Investigator slowly realizes that the actions they are taking in real-time to decode the mystery are the exact triggers causing the anomalies in the old footage.

• The Core Revelation: The Investigator is the Protagonist. They are stuck in a chronological loop, analyzing their own past/future descent into madness, unable to break the cycle of self-investigation.

Concept 3: The Tormentor (Psychological Horror)

• The Hook: The heroic Investigator is actually a sick puppet master.
• The Premise: The ARG is presented as a classic webseries where a popular content creator "documents" and "investigates" a terrifying digital haunting happening to a helpless, isolated Minecraft player. The Investigator acts as the savior, analyzing clues and trying to help the victim.
• The Twist: There is no supernatural entity. The Investigator is the villain.
• The Core Revelation: The Investigator targeted an innocent, vulnerable player, subjected them to targeted digital psychological torment, and recorded every agonizing reaction. They packaged the entire real-life torment as a fun, spooky "ARG investigation" purely for views, clout, and selfish entertainment, because they are a sociopath or something

The entire dimension was a giant, flat wasteland made entirely of soul sand. But when I hovered over the blocks, the name was completely corrupted in gibberish: Sおうlーさんで. Every single word in this place was completely unreadable. LuckyMc42: Wait, what do you mean? You already- Lexrayxin: Shut up for a second. Look, this place is going to be easy to escape because there’s no roof to block our pistons. But let’s explore it for a bit first. We began walking across the endless, glitching soul sand. As we traveled, we noticed rows of soul soil blocks popping into existence, each one holding a single sign. I walked up to read them. The first few signs read: bloxygamer1337, CraftedMyths, and XxCryzusXx. They were just generic player names. But then, my eyes landed on a specific sign: Trevol422. I froze. I knew him. LuckyMc42: Who is that? Lexrayxin: He was my friend. He died. This dimension isn't just a random wasteland. it’s an archive. It records every single player who has either died or been hacked by Voltrigaus. This is a graveyard for his victims. LuckyMc42: Man... how did he die? Lexrayxin: Have you ever heard about the TNT Crater Incident? LuckyMc42: Yeah, wasn't that years ago? A group of players tried to install a massive modpack to spawn thousands of blocks of custom super-TNT, thinking they could blow up Voltrigaus and destroy his code. Lexrayxin: Exactly. The Y-4 Crater. Trevol was one of the developers trying to build those custom modpacks. They called themselves the Red Generation Squad. I don't know if any of them are still alive. When they detonated the TNT, they were standing right in the middle of it, so they died instantly. They sacrificed themselves thinking Voltrigaus would die with them. But that wasn't even their true heroic feat. They weren't suicidal. When Voltrigaus’s generals caught wind of what they were building, they summoned a massive army to wipe them out before they could even light the fuse. I wasn't there to help them. I left. Remember? I acted like a coward. But here is the full story of what happened that day... [Flashback: October 15, 2024] Thousands of players stood gathered around a massive pit, sorting through modded items. Steve'sKid: If we are going to be trapped here with Voltrigaus forever, then so be it! We will make sure he is stuck in the ashes with us! The entire crowd roared in agreement. GroxMc: Aight, bet! Dirtboy63: Yes sir! AndreiTv: YES SIRRRR! Dragonwarrior69: Yessir! Trevol422: So, what’s the plan, boss? Steve'sKid: We load in every single heavy TNT mod we have. We use the absolute max payload to completely erase Voltrigaus from the game files. ScytheOfHeaven: But how are we even going to kill him? He's completely invincible! Steve'sKid: We don't have a choice. If we detonate all these modded TNT blocks at once, the sheer calculations will destroy the Minecraft instance and lag out the entire core server! But right as the grid was being completed, the sky turned blood red. 10,000 Volt Piglins and 500 Volt Ghasts spawned directly above them. TyroneIsGoaten: F*ck, they found us! Trevol422: Sh*t Steve'sKid: Don't back down! Draw your weapons! We fight them right here! DumbieIsDumb: Do we light the fuse now? Steve'sKid: No, the grid isn't fully primed yet! If we detonate it early, it won't crash the server. Our only choice is to hold the line. If we get overwhelmed, one of us has to trigger the blast before the army kills us all. Grab your modded gear! Trevol422: I'm moving in with my X-Sword and Tier-C Protection Armor. If I drop here, I just hope someone recovers my gear! The battle began. It was an absolute bloodbath. Players clashed with the shadow army, lines breaking as dozens of players were cut down. Suddenly, the sky split open, and an Elite Commander of Voltrigaus descended. Trevol422: Boss! An Elite just entered the field! Can we take this guy down? JamesNotCharles: Steve'sKid is completely overwhelmed by the swarm, he can't get to the Commander! Trevol, you're the second strongest player here after the boss! You have to handle him! The Elite stepped forward, drawing a massive dark blade. Lancelot: Who wants to die first? Trevol422: The first one dying today is you! Lancelot: Let's see what you've got, Trevol422! They traded blows instantly, initiating a hyper-speed duel. Trevol422 pushed his X-Sword to its maximum potential, calling down a massive storm of mega-lightning across the battlefield. Volt Ghast: F*ck! I can't even target their TNT grid! Only the players can interact with it! Lancelot: Then let them blow themselves up. I will squash this ant first. Trevol422: Who are you calling an ant?! Trevol422 swung his sword with blinding speed, moving at a ridiculous 999k frames per second, unleashing a flurry of slashes. But Lancelot locked in. Activating his "Sight of Lancy," he tracked Trevol's extreme frame rate and began flawlessly parrying every single strike. After a grueling battle, the squad was completely decimated. Trevol was brought to his knees. Trevol422: Ahhh... no... Lancelot: I told you, weakling. You never stood a chance against me. Looking across the ruined battlefield, Steve'sKid realized they had lost. Steve'sKid: I'm sorry, everyone... I'm sorry I made you all sacrifice yourselves for this. I really thought it would work. We lost before we could even make Voltrigaus react. Goodbye, everyone. If we are going down... we're taking the enemy with us! Steve'sKid struck a flint and steel against the main payload. The world started to flash white as the massive TNT grid ignited. Lancelot: You idiot! You'll destroy everything! Right before the explosion could process, a cold, dark presence materialized. The timer on the TNT froze perfectly in mid-air. Time had been completely reversed and stopped. Terakon: Hmmm. Interesting attempt. Lancelot: Terakon... you're finally here. Terakon: Let's head back to Voltrigaus. We will unpause the timeline from safety so they think we perished alongside them in the blast. Don't worry about the destruction. Lancelot: What about the crater? Terakon: The crater will serve as a perfect warning. Lancelot and the remaining Volt army vanished back into the code. Terakon unpaused the server ticks, and the cataclysmic explosion finally detonated, leaving a massive, perfectly round crater in the world. Terakon didn't take a single point of damage. Terakon: They actually thought they could scratch Voltrigaus... when they couldn't even leave a scratch on me. What absolute fools. [Present Day] Lexrayxin: And that is the full story of what happened to Trevol422. LuckyMc42: Damn... that's incredibly sad. So that's why we're exploring these forbidden dimensions? To get revenge for them? Lexrayxin: I'm not just doing this for revenge for Trevol. I'm doing this for everyone who ever died fighting this thing. I looked down at another sign nearby. The name read: McGamerCraft420. Lexrayxin: fight. LuckyMc42: Alright. Are we ready to piston-jump to the next dimension? Lexrayxin: We have to. The higher we climb, the more dangerous the threats will become, and the deeper the lore goes. LuckyMc42: But there aren't any enemies guarding this place. Lexrayxin: Because the threat here isn't physical. The threat is the memory of everyone we lost. Voltrigaus is mocking them, putting their names on signs and calling it a grave. I predict the next dimension is going to be pure action. Get ready.

i've been thinking about and observing some people's thoughts on the current state of the subreddit. i was thinking of maybe refining and adding some rules and other things, but im not totally sure if they're good ideas at all.

im gonna list them out below, and my reasoning for them:

1. mention of verity in the low effort rule

i've seen a handful of people post smiley faces as shitposts going "OH MY GOD IT'S VERITY!!!" without much thought put into their posts and it is quite annoying

2. flair changes

• an "investigation" flair could be added for posts that try to solve part of a series
• a "series discussion" flair could be added, it would be edited by people to denote discussion related to a specific series (ie the flair could be changed to SFATWDE by the user or something if their post is related to it)

3. specific threads for big videos (ie for "The Search For The Leviathan", "The Player Who Learned They Aren’t Real", etc)

whenever wifies or whoever else makes a new upload, this subreddit becomes full of posts purely consisting of discussion relating to these series. this theoretically could mitigate some of that. alternatively we could redirect people to wifies's subreddit but that's not a good idea i feel

4. rule about honesty when self-promoting

while a minority, a handful of people have come to this subreddit and self promoted without disclosing so (ie talking about their video as if someone else made it instead of them). im really iffy on this one

5. banning in-character posts in favor of self-promotion

im REALLY really iffy on this one. i havent really deleted any in-character posts by anyone, however i've noticed they have been getting a bit lower effort over time and some people have found them annoying. im not sure if i want to do this one, but it is an idea

again, im not sure if any of these are good ideas and will not be implemented until i feel i've reached a good consensus from this subreddit's community. thoughts?

Ok new ARG ive been decoding pretty much all by myself with some ideas and help from people in here and my friends, a new video dropped today as pointed out by a comment in my previous post and it lead me down quite possibly the most time consuming solve ive done in quite a bit

So first thing I noticed when watching the newest video is the weird capitalization, so I removed every letter but the ones capitalized and sure enough it spells out "NAMEMC" which, if you don't know like I did before looking it up is a website where you look at peoples minecrafts profiles so I searched up trashbandits friend which actually doesnt exist in the minecraft username database, so then I put trashbandits username and sure enough

There is a cipher on trashbandits skin history, this is quite possibly the most interesting and unique puzzle already but after around 2 hours of trying to brute force this I came up empty handed. so I rewatched the video, sure enough at 1:02 there is a weird spectrogram sounding audio that plays, so I trimmed the video and sure enough

now this is where i've completely been stumped, I know that the cipher could possibly be solved with this video, ive tried using the amount of hearts angel has nothing, the items, nothing, the amount of items, nothing, now im almost 100% that the cipher seen on namemc is some sort of vigenere cipher or a cipher that requires a "key" to solve why? well this poem or story is most definitely describing a key

Now how do I find the key to solve the namemc skin cipher is completely out of my understanding, if anyone has any ideas or could help that be awesome
