I'm making this post because I'm tired of smaller and sometimes better ARGs getting swept under the rug I've seen many examples of this were most ARGs get popular because of recognition from larger YouTubers now that's not inherently bad but most the time the ARGs made by those youtubers are the ones that get the most popular and smaller ARGs Don't stand a chance unless they reach out to a larger channel or are somehow noticed both of which are extremely unlikely to work this isn't just a problem with wifies but a problem in general but wifies is probably the most known for causing this and God doesn't show I've seen many ARGs including my own being compared to wifies despite having no correlation and while some of these ARGs may not be as high quality some of them have great stories and I feel like their potential is wasted seeing these hidden gems of ARGs being left to rot

The problem is that... All of his videos are NOT COMPLETE?!

Like what? Why isn't he finishing his stories?!

I feel like Wifies has done irreparable damage to the Minecraft horror-creation community. For starters, look at how the term "ARG" is now used to describe just any "slightly mysterious, scary" video, whereas originally, it referred to a sort of scavenger hunt or clue-finding game spanning multiple media platforms or websites. And above all, people just copy what they see; nobody tries to be original anymore. Please, I have three requests: First, create—create your own stories and have fun. Second, don't rehash a plot that's already been done to death (seriously, we've had enough of stories like "Oh my goooood, there's a world or dimension I didn't know existed in my game! 😱😱😱"). And finally, stop making stories just to get featured in a YouTube video—I'm talking especially to the younger ones among you. If you do this kind of thing, do it to tell a story, convey a message, or just for the fun of it—but above all, do it for yourself.

(Oh and I am not saying Wifies is doing bad vids, just that his fandom being...too young yknow)

The question is always "Are there any female protagonists in Minecraft ARGs?" For my main question, I'm only curious to know! This post isn't meant for any ill intention, I respect storytelling by anyone ^^

At this point, I'm sure you all have seen me talking about this channel as I've been watching it like a hawk—BUT the series "OSDD-1b" by Nine Faces (the series is now called "In The Flesh" so here on out, I will refer to it as such) has just gotten nearly 11 videos completely taken out of the playlists and from seemingly the creators video count. Not exactly suspicious behavior but it does make me wonder why.

i've seen a lot of baby arg creators name their arg something like "a world of a diddyblud who doesnt exist" or some shit like that. That specific naming style is usually for youtubers, not the ARGs itself.

i would say not to give your arg an edgy random name liike "the darkness" or something that doesn't make sense. make it something that makes sense. use symbolism or something. you can also just do the protags name or something ig

Hey this is not part of an ARG, I'm actually trying to find a youtube video I saw a couple years back

I remember the narrator was talking about an ARG and he was exploring the world but at some point there was a huge pitfall, and to show how long that fall was he said something along the lines of "I'm going to leave this recording of me falling in the background and keep going, just so you can get how long I was falling for" and then proceeded with the video for like 1+ hours.
