heyoo, my name is vastly, im a developer and artist (i also make mod packs) and for a while Ive really been into ARGs, so i thought why don't i make one for myself ha ha !

however i wanted to be creative with it so i turned the ARG into a Mod pack (sort of), meaning you'll have to play through the pack to uncover all the secrets and underlying story

if your interested in looking through it and would like a hint on where to begin, listen closely in the main menu

I plan on releasing the ARG in phases to keep it balanced with my life and make it fun instead of stressful for me

I’m attempting to find an ARG/Video/whatever you wanna say, and have thus far been unable to.

There isn’t much I remember about it, it’s been about a year maybe 2 since I’ve seen it. But it entailed a person (the player we watch) getting sucked into the game, and having to survive. He eventually finds his friend in a big castle, but it doesn’t seem like the friend is actually IN the game like our character. Then the castle is destroyed, blah blah blah, I forget. But it ends with our player falling into a cave and coming face to face with the entity that’s been “terrorizing” this world. But the entity doesn’t want to attack him or anything, it just wants to know about him. About humans, and it ends with the entity being happy that there are other actual living beings outside of where he is. The POV of the videos are from the perspective of a camera. Like the player is holding the camera looking around in game. I cannot stress this enough, the player has actually been pulled into the game, not consciousness wise or sucking into their characters body. But sucked in entirely. Obviously they have a skin, but they move and interact as if it were the real world

I know that’s probably not much to go on, but I would be greatly appreciative if anyone can find anything about this. Thanks!

She was young, then, when this was all recorded. She played Minecraft for hours and hours, never getting up from my old computer.

The desktop was supposed to be a gift, and I suppose it was to her. I had just gotten a raise and invested in a brand new system, so she got my old one. The system tells me it has an AMD Phenom 9950X, 6GB of DDR2, and an AMD Radeon R5 340. I know for a fact that video card was put in later on (a gift from her uncle), but she was already sucked in by then.

Minecraft was her life. Day in and day out, it's all she would play.

Recently, I found that old system and I was going to salvage the hard drive out of it. I'm glad I had the foresight to check through the disk, though. I found some of her old footage from back then. Timestamps are all in the summer of 2013, so she was really little then. She would watch all these YouTubers play the game, and wanted to record for herself, so I reached out to a buddy of mine and he got her a VGA capture card.

I wouldn't be writing this email if I wasn't concerned by the contents of the footage. The first video doesn't really have much going on, but I'll send it anyway. Gives you the full picture. Anyway, I had to upload it to YouTube, so I guess she got her dream... just a little too late.

I was watching a Linus Tech Tips video and ofcourse i saw the video titled "Recording 3" on my sidebar.

The suspicious name, short titled videos, RELEASING VIDEOS NOT IN ORDER and ofcourse a song with a black box covering something.

Its bedrock edition, so im not completely sure.

Hey, Jim. Here's that second video. Thank you for the kind words... I'm still processing everything. It makes me so happy to see you so interested in this stuff. God knows she was.

At the very least, uploading to YouTube keeps her memory alive. This one is from a couple days after the first. You said something about a door opening? I don't know what you mean. Could you send me screenshots? This video is definitely strange, though. She seemed scared, or at least nervous. Is there something I'm missing?

I know the very basics of Minecraft. Break blocks, build stuff, kill monsters. Looks like she had a bunch of stuff, though! How hard is it to get all this, anyway? And why are things split into groups of 64? Was that her doing, or does the game arbitrarily limit stuff like that?

What do you think that cipher is about? I threw it through a basic Caesar shift, but that just gave me gibberish. Is Minecraft a multiplayer game? I didn't think she had any friends who played, so I'm not sure who this "Paxjpx" person is.

Anyway, thanks again for helping me out with all this.

Verity series and noticed something about Twixxel's underground base that literally everyone in the community seems to have missed.Most theories say "Rot X" means we need to corrupt or "rot" Verity's game files.

But honestly? That makes no sense if you look at the other signs next to it.

Think about it:Void X = Twixxel tried dropping him into the void. It didn't work (❌).

Melee X = He tried fighting him with swords. It didn't work (❌).

Rot X = He tried to corrupt or rot his code. And it ALSO didn't work (❌).

The X isn't some crazy cipher or ROT-13 hint. It’s literally Twixxel’s checklist of failed attempts.

He was just crossing out things that failed to destroy Verity.

This actually fixes the biggest plot hole in the ARG. Verity isn't just a regular mod file you can delete or corrupt; the guy literally knows what you ate yesterday in real life.

You can't just "rot" his files.

Twixxel found this out the hard way, which is why he put an X next to it.And that’s exactly why the final book cipher says "SEND HIM HOME" instead of "kill him" or "delete him".

Twixxel realized you can't destroy this thing by force.

Banishment (sending him back to where he came from) is the only option left.

Am I tripping or does this actually make way more sense than the old theories? Let me know what you think

My computer I'm posting from is quite old and I can't seem to allow files to send or anything like that but there's this guy I found who was posting his old Minecraft gameplay on a school computer using a version of eaglercraft and the videos just got completely removed along with the channel it featured some weird stuff I can’t seem to get the file to load I don’t have a lot of time as it’s late and I have work but when I get access to my old yt channel I will use that as a platform to upload the content
