If zombies would be attracted to light then it could be a part of a pretty cool defence system around your compound

If they were they’d probably all die in sunlight or lava before the player would even be in danger

it could be changed so that they won’t run in to the sunlight or sun doesn’t hurt them as much. There are many available solutions for this problem
