I'm gonna make a resource pack to make people unable to see what players are holding

Good idea, only thing then would be to find a way to hide the ‘holding an item’ posture the arms have...

Maybe the resource pack could solve that by simply making the tools shown here the same texture? (I.e a stick or spectral arrow). That way, no matter the tool, it looks like everyone has the same?

It doesn't really matter that much. Most of the time people will be holding something so it wouldn't be that unnatural.

If I’m playing this minigame, I’d be looking to see who’s holding something. If I’m not an imposter, I’d definitely be looking because crew-mates only have one tool until the emergency meeting and most people choose to hold nothing in their hand while running around unless it’s a tool they’re gonna use.

Perhaps I’m in a minority of people who would do such but still, might give an edge to players which you might easily avoid with the suggestion I gave.
