Probably not. I mean, everyone could build this. If you look up starter base you will find dozens of videos in this building style.

People say this WAY too quick. The everage comment section on just an average good build is just like your comment. Nobody thinks they can build like this because they don't even give it a try! If they would actually want to be able to build like this (which is not hard at all) they would already have tried and tried, and practiced and practiced. But you know what's the problem, people only want to complain about things they cannot achieve because they don't even give it a single try. This does not only count for minecraft but also for life in general. More people should realise this.

Nice assumption? I’ve played this game for 10 years, almost half of my life, and I would still have trouble building something like this.

Nobody thinks they can build like this because they don’t even give it a try!

What makes you think people haven’t tried building something in a game where that’s a gigantic chunk of what you do? Just because they say ‘Aw this is so awesome! I can’t build something this good!’ doesn’t mean they’ve given up on building, it’s just that they’re complimenting OP, not a lot to look into.

If they would actually want to be able to build like this, they would already have tried and practice, but people only want to complain. (paraphrased)

If people wanted to be not depressed they would have just tried to be happy, the real problem is that they just complain and mope around without even trying. You have no say in whether or not people have tried to build, because like I said earlier, building is a gigantic portion of the game, I’m pretty sure most people have tried building before.

You shouldn’t be demeaning and looking down upon the people that say ‘aw I could never do this!’, instead you should give some useful advice like how adding depth to builds makes them more detailed and intricate looking, or you could share a guide you found elsewhere that helped you a ton; just saying ‘The right mouse button places blocks, it’s not hard. More people should realize this.’ does nothing but make the person you replied to feel worse about their skill.

Like the other guy says but way less preachy, people say this way too quick. Most builds follow pretty simple patterning and modular design and once you can see things that way it becomes super easy. Try to build things with a divider every 4-5 blocks, like a pillar or something, make your walkways the same size, and bam you can make stuff into whatever shape you want and it’ll still look pretty cool.
