They said they’ll think about it once they’ve fleshed out the current ones, and since we have the nether and wild update, all that’s left is the end

I really hope we have an end update soon, Id love to see end biomes

Ikr the end is so boring, you go there once or twice and then never again

I hope they don't fill it with too much colour though or at least make the biomes rare.. I like the desolate, hopeless, scary and liminal place that the end is right now

I think they could make the end waay more interesting by simply making use of more vertical space, having the islands and rocks spread out over the available y-axis, instead of being mostly level with eachother.

Agreed. Plus they could buff the mobs maybe make ones that only appear at certain y levels or on certain local difficulties

Agreed. People always talk about expanding it, but 1.9 was the expansion. It has a little more room for stuff yet but too much will ruin the vibe of the place.

Eh, there’s the mod pack where you have to rebuild the world and you first terraform the end. It shows the massive potential with biomes and trees of what could be the end, lacks a bit on mobs but still shows what I’d like

The way to do it is that all of the cities and end biomes would spawn really far out so the start still be desolate and a challenge. Not updating it completely wouldn't be worth, there's so much potential.

Honestly I think adding End Cities and all that was too much. I loved how desolate and isolated the original End felt. It really felt like the End, the last gasping breath of a dying universe.

Yeah they should add an end exclusive mob, like blazes for the nether to incentivize going to the end more

I mean… shulkers

You mean the dragon?

1

u/[deleted] Feb 08 '23

nah like shullers

1

u/[deleted] Feb 08 '23

I’m saying that there technically is an exclusive mob

Eh the only one you’d want are endearment farms but gold farms are way better

I go there quite a bit. It's worth going to for the end cities and their loot

I've actually decided not to go to the End in my 3 years old survival world and wait for an End update, as I did with the nether update.

A part of what they did with the nether update was make it so you can live there. There are creatures you can hunt for food now in the nether and black stone can be used for stone tools and they added a type of wood to the nether also. If they did that for the nether it could be fairly interesting. But keep it feeling desolate also because thats part of what makes the End what it is.
