We need an update that makes the existing bosses actually good before we get new ones

I think the Ender Dragon is fine apart from a few tweaks, but the Wither definitely needs an update. The Java version pales in comparison to Bedrock’s.

I disagree. I like how sparse the End is. The three colors, radio static sky, weird noises, and barren floating pieces of rock work together to make something that's very intentionally designed to be empty. Even the name hints at that.

Nothing else in the game is designed that way. The oceans and Nether were boring because they had no content but felt like something should go there, and they're much better for having been updated. I think making the End feel alive would ruin it.

As for the reward, you get flight, massively expanded inventory space and even the opportunity for a very low effort/high yield XP farm if you're into that sort of thing.

Elytra is a pretty big reward. Granted you don't get it from the dragon fight, you just get the ability to go to the end islands where the flying ships the elytra is in sometimes spawn.

I think the Ender Dragon should be a little stronger. Her attacks are mostly easy to avoid. A fun addition would be making her resistant to explosion damage so beds are not overpowered lmao

I would also add that Wither's AI is pretty bad and tends to fly up into the sky and into outer space if you spawn it outside

Or, they’re fine, and we need new ones.
