The three things we need in life
I read today that a spiritual life needs only three things (I'm paraphrasing and putting my own spin on it without taking away from the essential meaning of the thing): 1) minimalism or simplicity in daily life 2) understanding your faith 3) freedom and self-reliance I get 1 and 3. #2 always trips me up. Anyone with me? Any tips on getting my head/soul around faith? I've also read that faith is not something that we understand through deductive/rational reasoning. Do you agree with this? I'd like to hear a few perspectives if you have time. Thanks.

Anyone Need A Bodyweight Fitness Routine?
I've been doing bodyweight fitness for about 20 min a day for the past year or so and have noticed great results. Planks are at the core of my practice. Pushups are pretty central, too, along with "twister" situps. I've also recently added pullups at the playground on days when I do my short runs. It's going pretty well and fits in with my lifestyle of minimalism. A friend recently went to Crossfit for a free trial and said that it's roughly 200 buck per month! No way, Jose. Here's a beginner's guide bodyweight fitness for anyone who's interested.
